Ok, mother of GOD that's a lot of responses and I am but one man with Excel. I'll update these ASAP but also some rules:

A Pokemon only counts for itself, not its evolution line.

A Pokemon with multiple forms (like Zygarde) will only be counted for the specified form. A Pokemon with multiple appearances (like Spinda, Vivillon, Sylvally, etc.) count for all their appearances.

I'm literally doing this as a testament to my own depression that not everyone is lovable, so add that to the weight of this post's meaning.

no matter what you do never think of jimmy self sabotaging so much because hes used to never getting what he wants or dying or being beaten down. so he does it to himself. that or him going "I've always dragged everyone who I get close to down. so I'll push them away this time so I don't hurt them" and then proceeding to yank them down in a self fulfilling prophecy

also oh my god him not having that much empathy for those who died before him because. all his formative experience is with his own deaths and hearing about them once hes in another world. he doesn't see the graves or the services or the tears while they are sincere. he hears the laughter and teasing and insults once they start another round. the first time he sees a funeral, its HIS, and he's being forced into the coffin and buried alive, unable to escape as he hears people above him speak of his life with mocking tones, laced with insults and laughter. he doesn't understand that people grieve, that they mourn their friends and lovers. and the second he starts feeling grief, starts feeling upset and shaken up by his teammates deaths, he goes "Ah. Something Is Wrong With Me." and buries all those emotions. because that's how it works, isn't it? no one misses the dead. they laugh at them instead.

If I start talking about smallidarity I will be killed but the similarities and foils of Joel and Jimmy’s personalities never fail to astound me

They’re both angry and spiteful, but Joel is so incredibly loyal at times. He takes revenge, he gets angry on other’s behalf (WAY more than Jimmy ever has), etc. He’s sincere, terribly so. And Jimmy- well you outlined Jimmy pretty well. The self esteem issues dig deep.

They’re both so self assured… augh…
