Aaaaaw, you’re adorable <3

It was meant to be much, much longer tbh, but I didn’t want to write too much and I was running out of time. I had to cut out loads of scenes and backstory and stitch the rest together ^^’

And yes, I immediately thought of you and that mermaid fic when I came up with the idea xD I never finished writing it, but I had a few scenes tucked away and decided to use them. THE MERMAID FIC LIVES two years later and with a pairing that would have seemed ridiculous back then BUT IT LIVES

I’m sorry you had to cut some stuff out, but there really wasn’t that much time and 10k in this time frame is already an impressive accomplishment. :)

I think it’s great how people can take bits and pieces from shelved ideas and work it into a completely new one, like you’ve done here with the old jagoras mermaid fic. And right - who would’ve thought back then that one day you’ll revisit that idea FOR A CANON QUEER SHIP (with Pythagoras)?! S1 fics feel so very nostalgic now, but as you’ve said, everything lives on… in some way :)

I still don’t know how I managed to do it tbh xD And I’ve tucked away all of the extra scenes and ideas, so who knows, maybe one day I’ll add them to this fic or use them for a completely new one (because siren AUs never get old, and I still haven’t forgotten about the Hepson one you mentioned that one time like 2 years ago)

Aw, I miss the good old S1 days. Jagoras, triangles, a grand total of 5 Atlantis fics on AO3... Those were good times, man.

Dion and Critias (AND DITIAS *throws confetti*) are pretty relevant to the story, but I’m so mad I couldn’t give them more time to shine D: Their scenes are told from Pyth’s PoV, and poor Pyth is... well, let’s just say he has other priorities. Like flesh-eating sirens. And stuff.

Omg hiiiiii :D Thank you so much for being my Secret Santa! I’d love a fanfic or some fanart, but tbh you can make whatever you feel comfortable with! My only condition is that you have to have fun and be proud of the result, okay?

As you’ve probably noticed, my favourite character is Pythagoras. I’m open to most pairings, but I prefer Pythacarus and Jagoras (though I won’t object if you’re willing to create something Hepson-related. Or just Heptarian-related) :D
