Rachel: I /am/ interested in the project, but I also have tennis, and drama club, and helping organize charity events, plus studying for my AP courses to prove I'm not flaking second semester senior year.

Rachel: I'm not a one trick pony. I may want to be an actress but every actress needs to be multifaceted.

Quinn: Have you ever heard of stretching yourself too thin? It sounds like youre going to burn our come May. You know you don't have to be in ever club, itsnot required. Whatever, if 30 minutes is all you'll have to spare Ill take care of whatever is left to figure out.

Quinn: So you have a lot of tricks, then?

Quinn: Again, remember you want to make it to being that famous actress or whatever so dont kill yourself on the way

Rachel: You're pressing every button I have, Fabray, and I am /trying/ to be civilized.

Rachel: Film may be your entire life but I have other commitments as well. I don't just wander around the city with a camera in hand all day. I am attempting to give you what free time I have, so stop being a bitch and give me a little understanding or I'll do this project on my own.

Quinn: Are you actually? Trying? Is it not something that comes natural? 😏

Quinn: I'm focused. I know what I want, so I don't have time to waste on anything but being the best at what I love. I don't just wander. I have a plan of action, most of the time> This is not me being a bitch, but if you'd like to experience that I'm prepare to show you. I just would like for you to actually be interested in the project.

Mercedes: Spoken like a true creative type. I'm guessing we'll talk more about this project in person, so I'll keep my question until then.

Mercedes: Well I live in Brooklyn. So my most of my time is spent there. Outside of this school business, of course.

Quinn: Yes. I don't want to scare you off before we actually sit down and talk.

Quinn: Good I prefer the BK for everything. Manhattan is for tourist and snobs for the most part, though it has some pros. Okay then we can grab coffee there after school

Santana: They're all about the couple building activities tbh...it's what they pay their quack therapist the big bucks for.

Santana: So you think we're gonna be able to pull this latest artistic endeavour off? It's not too left of field?

Quinn: Well good for them I guess. I mean most people don't realize relationships are work and just give up when things get hard, so at least they are willing to put work in. My parents just enjoy the same strands of weed. What's that old saying the hippies that smoke together stay together or something.

Quinn: I think your idea is inspired. I'm surprised. I think it'll turn out great. I'm a little obsessed with films like this so I'm actually sort of excited about it. Experimentation is going to inspire my future Cannes winners

Marley: Yeah sure. How about that cute cafe a few blocks from school? We can go during lunch and I know they have an outside seating area. Plus their pasta salad is incredible.

Marley: um good. Kind of freaking out about this portfolio review I have coming up, but I'm trying to stay relaxed about it. You?

Quinn: Outside seating was all needed to hear. I'm there even it is close to school.

Quinn: I'm sure you'll do great. Deep breaths but don't pick up a smoking habit, they're hard to get rid of, trust me. I'm trying to stay busy. Filling every bit of time. I don't make much time for anything other than school and film projects.

Rachel: A half hour is all I can spare and that means I can't schedule a pedicure during last period like I had originally planned. So, trust me, I am accomodating you as much as possible.

Quinn: Accommodating me? This is your grade too, Princess. This should matter to you. Your grades should matter since you're still working on impressing the dream school. Prioritize.

Brody: I'm trying to be. But I think I'm better at expressing other people's visions than my own. The things I'm working on for you, no problem.

Brody: Everything else... not great.

Quinn: Sometimes it's easier when you're having some sort of a block. But what we have to do is get you inspired to work on your own projects.

Quinn: What's everything else?

Mercedes: I'm starting to pick up on that. You got the whole brooding thing going on. Is it, now?

Mercedes: Cool. Wouldn't want you to lose that momentum. Did you have a meeting place in mind?

Quinn: It is one of my specialties, brooding is like an art. Yeah. I just wanted to talk to you about a few things, about you and maybe discuss a project

Quinn: Depends on which side of the bridge you're wanting to spend some time on.

Santana: A shoulder mount rig? Sounds like something my parents invested in when they were trying to spice up their marriage and avoid divorce.

Santana: /Well/ I do now :D

Santana: In theory I have no problem with the subway except - What's the point when I can just take a town car?

Santana: Promise not to throw me under the tracks and I'll ride it with minimum to no complaining.

Quinn: Either you have some extremely kinky 'rents or your parents have awesome couple building activities. Or both. It stabilizes the camera on your shoulder while your filming so the shots aren't shaky

Quinn: Glad this conversation was at least a little educational for you.

Quinn: Some of us can't afford town cars and have already paid for their monthly metro card pass. I promise no throwing you on the tracks. I don't want to hurt the mice after all. Don't worry it'll be fine and you'l have a story to tell your friends

Rachel: I'm feeling a little more...nice these days. I'm not sure how long it'll last, don't get used to it.

Rachel: Coffee after school? I have about a half hour before I have to head for tennis practice and drama club I can spare for you.

Quinn: The idea of expecting you and I sharing more than 7 kind words to one another is pretty laughable. Trust me, I wont get used to your semi humanness, but I guess ill enjoy it while it lasts

Quinn: A half hour is cutting it close isnt it? This is a big portion of our grade, Rachel.

Quinn: I will admit I do my best not to make the typical student film. its about expressing your vision, telling a story, getting creative. Im about all of that. Arent you?

Brody: Okay... is that what it's like in your brain? No wonder your films are so artsy.

Quinn: My mind is a fairly scary place to venture to, Im not sure you want to know what its like, but for conversation's sake yes that is what my mind is like.

Quinn: Artsy, I'll take it. Things come out a little dark most of the and people associste dark with artsy. your music cam be artsy from time to time.

Quinn: What?! I'm excellent at it when I'm not horrible at it. I don't know a conversation I had recently just made me think maybe I'm becoming something akin to what I despise the most and I maybe possibly need to work on that.

Brody: I like to think I'm a pretty good judge of character. So far, most people have turned out to be what I thought they were.

Brody: But then again, my mom always said I left everyone a lot of room for doubt.

Brody: Yeah, I didn't follow any of that.
