For those who keep telling Ella to hurry up with her album …
- for one thing, I’m so young and I’m learning so much about songwriting all the time and about how I want to sound, so I guess, you know, the next project is gonna sound really different. But I’m definitely just at the beginning, you know, just figuring it out, what I want to convey, and what I want to say. But it’s gonna be a step forward, thats for sure.

I’ve been having the hardest time with my art. I just havent been happy with anything I produce. I’ve had it in my head that I need to be doing it in a certain way for it too look good and to be worthy of an audience. It was making me hate drawing. So I’ve been working on drawing what I like, how I like, and not giving a damn of what other people may think. So I’ve drawn Lorde who couldn’t care less what others think of her art.
lordemusic: it’s summer in the studio too
Ella recently shopping in a very nice part of Beverley Hills, Los Angeles | Love seeing someone I (kinda) know and have for a while have come so far so quickly

As a young teen, I went to a lot of David Lynch films, I read a lot of strange books, I loved to go to the museum all day. I was that kid. I liked to hang out with people older than me, I didn’t really know what I wanted to do - writing and singing was just a hobby.
