La causa palestinese non è dei soli palestinesi, ma è la causa di tutti gli oppressi e gli sfruttati del nostro tempo, ovunque essi siano.

what's your advice on how to learn a new language
Be patient. Find at least twenty minutes every day for learning a new language. Twenty minutes where there will be only you and new words, phrases, sentences, grammar rules, exercises.
Be easy and gentle to yourself. Let foreign words flow naturally with songs that you like singing in the car or while taking a shower. Speak in your new language as often as you can, with tourists, with your friends, with your cat or with yourself.
Be passionate. Fall in love with a book that you’re eager to read in its original language. Fall in love with a place where people speak in that language. Or fall in love with a foreigner.

I can’t stop thinking about Elijah sitting underneath the juniper tree & asking God to die. God sent an angel who says, “This journey is too much for you.” & that he must eat. Elijah does, then he rests. He wakes up still feeling hopeless, & the angel repeats himself.
It took Elijah longer than he wanted to get better. Sometimes we want to move but we can’t. Sometimes the journey is too much. It is not a sin to understand your limitations. Start there, get stronger, then get up.

Romans 8:1 “There is now no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus.”
It’s not the Churches job to criticise and point fingers at people. Our job is to love and love and love them.
To build on that statement
James 5:19-20 “My brothers, if anyone among you wanders from the truth and someone brings him back, let him know that whoever brings back a sinner from his wandering will save his soul from death and will cover a multitude of sins.”
It IS the church’s job to correct sinful behavior among its members
Love the sinner, hate the sin

Marzieh Ebrahimi, survivor of the 2014 serial acid attacks on women in Esfahan, Iran. Back in 2014, Marzieh had an appointment with a dentist and was stuck in traffic in the central Iranian province of Isfahan. She rolled down her car’s window only to see a huge volume of pure acid splashed on her face.Unfortunately, she lost part of her face and the cornea of an eye in the acid attack. She is now happily married and the news of her marriage made headlines in media, particularly in social media. (Source)
