I know the media literacy on this site pisses on the poor or whatever but the idea that Q Force is Military Propaganda because the characters start out (keyword there) patriotic public servants before the main plot about how the agency they've put their trust in has been manipulating, brainwashing, and torturing people like them for decades and they decide to go against the agency and commit treason in order to right the wrongs commited is just 👨‍🍳🤌💋.

It's common knowledge that fic usually gets a tiny fraction of the notes that art gets. But you know? The universe balances itself out when fic readers go OFF in the tags.

I think artists have it rough, honestly. I've scrolled through the tags of gorgeous artwork and too often it's like #<name of show>, #<name of show>, #<character name>, #<name of op>. (mildly off-topic but this is why I yammer in the tags of reblogged art, but anyway)

Fics might get a tenth of the notes that art gets, but when people leave tags? It's Different. They're the tags of someone whose attention you held for 10+ minutes and they have Thoughts.

At this point I don't even put that much stake in note count. It's the tags and replies and people kicking down the ask box that I'm here for.
