December 17th - a rescue plan

Some good news, I’ve been talking to two developers now and got them working together, we just had a meeting with the guys behind an existing large (millions of users) site similar to Tumblr, with a vibrant and open-minded community, and more importantly, it has open-minded owners who believe in free speech. They think we can get something done here to rescue the whole community.

I’m not allowed to reveal the site name yet. I can tell you it’s mainstream, open to everyone, open-minded and welcoming. (It’s not WordPress or any site owned by Facebook or Twitter. It’s not Pillowfort, that’s in closed beta. It’s not Ello, that’s mainly for artists. It’s not kinkspace or fetlife, those are too specialist. It’s not jux, that seems to be closed. It’s not Soup, that seems still in development and too small.)

One of the reasons for delaying the announcement for next few days is they don’t want a “land grab” where people take the names of current popular Tumblr users over there (cyber squatting). So they are looking at ways for existing Tumblr users to keep the same names on the new site.

More info over the days to come.

The plan is, broadly:

1. By December 9th, announcement of the new site and how to secure your username there

2. By December 10th, an online tool for bloggers to copy their existing content to the new site automatically, with the same tags and captions.

3. Bloggers will need to copy their content across between December 10th and December 17th if they want to use the automatic tool.

4. My understanding is that after December 17th there will be no public access to any “flagged” posts on Tumblr, but the original poster will still be able to see the flagged post (for a short time at least). Therefore, the original poster may still be able to manually download a post to their own PC or phone, after December 17th, and manually upload it to the other site. But if you have lots of posts that will take a long time, it will be better to use the automatic tool before December 17th.

Please understand that these dates are approximate and may change for technical or other reasons.

There may be a few rough edges or not so perfect looking site design on the transfer tool. Everyone is doing their best. The main goal here is to help as many people as possible preserve access to their content, in the short space of time Tumblr has allowed us, and preserve as much as possible of the Tumblr community spirit somewhere new.

The new site will cater for photo, GIF, text and html posts. It will not offer video and audio posts, due to cost reasons - maybe in future, but for now you will need to preserve video and audio content yourself in some other place.

If your Tumblr blog has a mixture of original content and reblogs, or all reblogs, all of that can be copied over to the new site. Reblogs will become “your” original content if nobody else posted them yet, otherwise they will be shown as reblogs. The devs are looking at ways to preserve attribution of reblogs back to the original Tumblr poster, if that person also moves to the new site.

Important: your Likes cannot be copied from Tumblr to the new site. You will have to go find the same posts again on the new site, and like them afresh.

(Similarly, existing reblog comments, asks, messages and other user interaction on Tumblr cannot be copied to the new site - that’s just too much to do, in the short time available.)

If you want to preserve any of your existing Liked posts on Tumblr, you will need to either: (1) download the post to your own PC, or: (2A) reblog it now to your own Tumblr blog, and then (2B) use the automatic tool, before December 17th, to move your whole Tumblr blog across to the new site.

If you have Liked a lot of posts here on Tumblr, the gridllr.com webapp should be able to help you do steps 1 and 2A quickly, I mean download or reblog.

(Someone complained to me today about the appearance of Gridllr on a phone. It’s best to use Gridllr on a PC, Mac or Tablet with a large screen.)

If you have liked a post here on Tumblr and the original poster decides to delete it, or even to delete their entire blog, some time before December 17th, then that post will be permanently lost. So if you want to be sure to preserve any of your Liked posts, you should best download or reblog as soon as possible. If it’s reblogged to your own blog it is safe from deletion, at least for next few days.

Obviously, you will lose access, after December 17th, to all past posts you have liked, if Tumblr has flagged them as NSFW. Again, the steps (1), or (2A) and (2B) covered above will be the only way to hold on to these posts.

Dealing With Douches

HELLOOO Hotwives…Stags…Bulls…and everyone else. Its Tuesday again and that means…Hotwives everywhere. It also means another episode of Hotwifing 101.

Today I want to touch on a subject that has to do with how Hotwives are treated. Theres no other word to describe these Wack nuts except to call them Douches. Disrespecting the lady in the lifestyle is not just about being mean or crass. Its also about judging her for her lifestyle choice and what she chooses to do in her own free time with full encouragement by her husband. And its about how you approach her.

First, I, myself have been called every name in the book by men and women that know nothing about me other than what they see here. Ive been called a slut…a whore….a skank…(insert racist word) lover….and many many more. Now its easy for a lady to be hurt by these words but look at the source where these come from. Do not be intimidated by these morons. Most of the time these men and sometimes ladies…are just jealous of you and just want to troll. I dont ever let them bother me. In fact, i like to embarrass them. And id like to say…Im pretty damn good at it too. And just for the record, i take some of those names Im called and wear them like a badge of honor. Sound strange? Lol Come on….i really am my husbands slut and whore and i dont mind being another mans either for a night or 2. So if that bothers someone else…Fuck You. Go Piss off! My life, Not yours!

Secondly…the one that guys seem to think is the most degrading. Calling someone a (insert racist word) lover. Seriously? What do you hope to accomplish with this? Do you really think your color makes you greater than another color? And this can go both ways btw! Ive known some who think that just because they are one color that they have been blessed with more than the other color. Heres the deal everyone. Being white is not a determining factor of who i choose to play with. Being black is not a determining factor of who i choose to play with. And just because you are one color or the other does not mean you are special. Stop the stupid racism on both sides. Yes…it does happen on both sides and you both look ridiculous when you use your color as though its something special. Cause i dont give a fuck what color, creed, or background you are. I care only about how you treat me. I care only about whether you can please me…as a gentleman. I will fuck any color man as long as he understands the lifestyle and knows how the game is played. Its that simple.

Lastly, guys….white, black, asian, indian, etc… learn how to be respectful in your words. Learn how to approach a lady. That doesnt mean whip out your cock pics and talk about what you want to do to me. I already know you want to do that. I already know you have a cock. Those are obvious. But i dont know if youre a good person. I dont know that youre a douchebag. Prove those things to me.

Ladies, when confronted by douchebag men acting as i have just described….do NOT let them get under your skin. Just delete them and move on. There will always be Douchebags in your search for Bulls. ALWAYS! Accept that fact and embarrass them….then move to the next number on your list. There is an ample supply of waiting men wanting to be your Bull. Be picky and be confident in yourself. No matter what a Douche says…throw it back at them 10 times more and move forward with your head high and your skirt higher.

Regroup

Happy Hotwifing 101 Tuesday everyone. The work work has practically just begun and that can be depressing but that’s why we have Tumblr right? Our weekday stress reliever.

Today I want to talk about something that isn’t spoken about much in the lifestyle. This is important though and should be taken seriously. I created an episode about it partially a while back. Sometimes though…couples need to Regroup.

Those in the lifestyle already may or may not have experienced a moment or 2 where the lifestyle just needed to take a backseat. I have had yo do this before and it’s something I dont regret doing at all. What do I mean by regrouping? Well…2 people…a couple…a Stag and a Vixen…have to be in the most absolute best place in their relationship in order to be in the lifestyle. It’s really not as easy as it seems for 2 people to trust each other emphatically to the point where jealousy and feelings do not interfere with the actions. It happens all of the time. And it’s not wise to continue if and when these feelings rise up out of either the Stag or the Vixen.

Sometimes when this starts to happen…for whatever reason.(and there are many)…you both need to stop it all and come together and assure each other of your love. To assure each other that you are both priority number 1. That nothing takes precedence over the relationship of the 2 of you. There is nothing wrong with doing this. It is necessary to regroup from time to time.

You have to ask yourself the question…Are we madly, truly, deeply in love? And maybe we should reignite that just on a personal level. Maybe you both need to refill the love meters to overflowing again before starting the playtime up again. Think about it. You may be due for this.

How can you tell when it’s time to regroup? Well…a good sign is that one of you is less enthusiastic about the lifestyle than the other. Another sign is the constant interference of feelings as though one of you feels deprived or left out. That may not even be true but if one of you feels that way then it’s probably a good idea to pause…and regroup.

The lifestyle doesnt go anywhere. You can always return at any time. But if you’re reading this and you’re feeling this way…take note and make an adjustment. Adjustments are always needed.

The Let Down

Good Morning Lifestylers…and wannabe lifestylers. Welcome back to another day of showing off some real hotwives doing their thing…..and people asking questions about this awesome lifestyle. Today I’m gonna touch on being Let Down.

For many of us…this can mean multiple things and it’s no different in this lifestyle either. For example…let’s say we ladies start searching for Bulls on a site online. We seem to hit it off really well with one. Stag approves and gives the green light. And you start the “I’ll be fucking you” dance with the new Bull online. You may have even met him at some point but your dialogue is practically all in messaging or online chats.

You like him so much that you are ready to set up the playdate. And the moment that you mention the subject of meeting to play….POOF…he disappears! You’re left wondering What the fuck just happened.

Yep. This happens all too frequently. It’s a major let down and I have a couple of possible explanations for it. 1. The man you are chatting with..isn’t really a part of the lifestyle and he just talked a good game but in reality…he is scared to death to take it to the next level and actually play.

I’ve had this happen a number of times and it irritates the shit out of me. 2. Some of these men are literally cheating on their wives at home. This subject may not be a big deal to some Hotwives but I have a huge problem with this. And if the Bulls havent figured this part about me yet……I Do Not Play With Married Men! Unless the wife is involved and playing too. Hotwifing isn’t about cheating. On the contrary…it is about being brutally honest with each other to the point that nothing is impossible to discuss and experience with each other. Cheating men who want to just get free pussy behind their wives backs….are deceptive and assholes.

Some of these assholes succeed in their game and some are just seeking an outlet. Many of the ones seeking an outlet bail at the last minute for fear of guilt. And they kept you in the dark about their true motive and their marital situation. This isn’t fair to themselves, their wife and especially not the Hotwife.

So…being let down is unfortunately part of the game. You will experience Bulls who really aren’t Bulls at all. Many of them say that they are…but have no idea how this works. They are fascinated with the idea but treat it like they would any single lady that they prey on. That doesn’t work on me. I have safeguards and you all should too. This is why your Stag should be fully involved in the vetting process and weed out the dumbasses. But even then…you will be let down by some of these guys. It will happen!

I can also tell you Bulls that you too…will be let down by some of the Hotwives. You have to remember that Hotwives have a slew of men to choose from. You may not hit her every button and she may just let you go. Dont take that personally. It’s too easy to be offended by that. But you shouldn’t! She has a specific thing she is looking for and you may not fit all of her criteria. Its typical. Get used to that…wish her good luck and move along to the next Hotwife.

I have had to Let down a few Bulls before and I’m sure I’ll be doing it again. Some things just have to be perfect for me or it just isn’t worth it to me. We can still be friends but I may not be keen on you continuously reaching out in order to play. At that point…I just ignore you.

Long story short….you all will be let down in this lifestyle occasionally but dont let it discourage your search. Because once you find the ones you like…its all worth it.
