"How about we snap his fingers one by one, and then his toes! Really drag the whole thing out, ya know?"
"Nah, I say we break his knees and spine. They'll heal of course, but at least until then he'll literally have to grovel and beg for forgiveness."
"Oooh I like the sound of that! You come up with the best ideas Belphie~!"
"Guys, I don't think that's helping right now." Beel handed you another tissue. When you didn't move, he gently dabbed at the tears rolling down your cheeks. "Do you want some soup?"
You shook your head and squeezed the Azuki-tan plush in your lap. Your breaths shuddered and your crying was silent, the kind that came from deep, bone-aching sadness.
"I could talk to Satan, if you want," Levi offered. "I'm technically his older brother, so he has to listen to me."
Shaking your head again, you sniffled. "I'll be okay. I know he didn't mean it. I shouldn't be so sensitive about this kind of thing."
Your tearful voice broke the hearts of your demons. Asmo held your hands, Mammon wrapped an arm around your shoulders, and Belphie buried himself deeper into your side.
Beel frowned. "Satan was frustrated, but he shouldn't have raised his voice at you either. We all know you don't like that."
"I messed up. He was right to be mad at me—"
"He made you cry. That's unforgivable."
"And don't you dare say you deserve it." Levi cut in before you could voice the traitorous thought rooted in your mind. "It was an accident."
"Still my fault," you mumbled, but that was as far as you got before someone knocked on your door.
The brothers tensed, bracing themselves to defend you from one of their own, only for Lucifer to enter with quiet steps.
"The royal dungeons are booked years in advance, but Barbatos owes me a favor so I can schedule us a slot this afternoon. What do you say, hm?"
His deadpan delivery startled a wet laugh out of you, which quickly dissolved into hiccups as you fought to keep your tears from spilling anew. Just the thought of Satan made your eyes burn and your ears ring. You didn't think you could go near him right now without the waterworks starting again.
Levi graciously ignored the way Azuki-tan was getting rained on. "I think Beel was on to something. How about a TSL rewatch to take your mind off things?"
Lucifer frowned, but Asmo quickly jumped in before he could say anything about running away from problems. "Great idea! I can give you a manicure while you watch. Mammon will go get all your favorite snacks, right?"
"Why do I gotta—!"
"Beel, help me grab the extra pillows and blankets from the attic."
"Okay. Can we stop by the kitchen for some ice-cream afterwards?"
You didn't see Lucifer handing Mammon his credit card behind your back as you settled in and made yourself comfortable.
He learned your favorite side to be cuddled, your preferred napping spots around the House of Lamentation, the route you liked to take to and from RAD, your go-to order at that drink shop you frequented after a bad day—
Everything and anything he used to do for you.
Had done to you.
It didn’t matter. Original or predecessor, he had to be them down to his own slothful tendencies. Any deviation from the Belphie you knew and had grown to love spelled his demise.
(How the hell did that damned sorcerer find out anyway?)
His pact with you remained intact across the universes, granting him an instant connection to you, and it was easy, so easy to fall in love with you all over again—
But only in the way he approved.
(How many times had it happened already? How many Belphegors had tried to tell you the truth, that he missed his brothers, that he had never met you before in his life, that even in his dreams he wasn’t safe from him—)
((Did Barbatos know that his pact holder had been tampering with the fabric of alternate realities? Or had he been the one to enable him in the first place?))
It was futile to resist, so Belphegor learned quickly. Your happiness was his life, his survival. And if he failed, if he didn’t love you the right way…
MC as a sheep who keeps running in front of people while they're walking and sits down in their direct path. Especially if they're carrying food or laundry.
Lucifer, lightly touching MC with the side of his foot: "MC, move out of the way please so I don’t trip on you."
MC, eyes enormous: "you KICK mc? you kick mc's body like the football? oh! oh! cocytus for luci! cocytus for luci for One Thousand Years!!!!"
Surely spending that long in solitary confinement with unresolved grief and seething rage can't be good for anyone, huh? Perhaps it's time to observe Belphegor's experience in the attic...
My Obey Me! fan game, Nightmare of the Attic, is now available to play for free on itch.io! You can download it HERE!
Thank you so much for your support while I worked on this, I genuinely couldn't have completed this without your encouragement :) If you play and you have any thoughts at all pleasepleasepleaseplease let me know!!!!
Since I've seen a lot of people getting confused trying to figure out the new game, and I like pressing buttons, I figured I'd make a quick attempt at a guide for navigating the game!
I'm gonna go over what little I've put together about the Affinity, how to navigate the Main and Event Stories, and I quite literally pressed every button I came across in the damned game to see what it does.
This is gonna get really long so buckle up!

STORY
Since this is the main thing I see people getting lost on, I figured this is a good starting point.
Main Story
Main Story is found on the "Album" page, and each brother has their own unique story!
At the moment there's only one "Chapter" out , consisting of 10 Episodes. Each Episode has an Affinity requirement, as well as requiring you to have read the previous Episode.
Episode 10 requires Affinity level 8 .
Each Episode gives a reward the first time you read it! So far rewards consist of Devil Points, Cards, and Episode 10 gives you that brother's ring!
Event Story
This one's a bit trickier to get to.
Event Stories are unlocked by obtaining the related card via Starfall (I'll cover that later, but that's this game's version of OM's previous "Nightmare" gacha / wishing / pulling mechanic).
To access the Event Story, go to the Memories page by pressing on the right side of the screen on the Album page. Then select the "Cards" tab, and choose which Demon's Party (Event?) card you want to see the story of.
The current event "Wedding Night Memories" has 2 stories available.
Card Story 1 is unlocked by obtaining the card 1 time.
Card Story 2 is unlocked by obtaining the card 2 times (this also unlocks additional rewards, such as alternate outfit sets. In this case it's the brothers' sleepwear in their default color palettes. Obtain the card 3 times total to get the alternate color palette outfits)
Demon's Party
This is additional story, and also contains multiple sub-stories. At current there is only Wedding Night Memories, which shows the wedding story of MC going to each of the brothers + Diavolo for their Puzzle.
MECHANICS
Starfall
Like I indicated earlier, Starfall is Obey Me Till Death Do Us Part's version of OG OM and Nightbringer's "Nightmare" pulling mechanic. This is how you obtain new cards, as well as clothing items for the brothers.
Note: For the current Wedding Night Memories banner, you have the option to select your "Rate Up" card, which increases your odds of obtaining the selected card. This can be selected towards the middle left of the screen, right above where it shows the clothing available.
You can pull / wish using Stardust (the blue stars) or Devil Points (the purple or gold cards).
Stardust pulls get you Merch shards and Astrophyllite (more on that in the Misc section at the bottom).
Star Tears are another currency that can be exchanged for cards by clicking on them. 200 Star Tears can be exchanged for 1 event card.
Per their own help tab, Star Tears from limited / event banners are automatically turned into Closet Points after the event ends (Closet Points are discussed under Akuzon).
1 Wish / Pull will earn you 1 Star Tear. A 10 pull earns you 10 Star Tears.
Akuzon
Akuzon has multiple sub-shop options per usual, but not in the classic tab format from previous OM games. This time we have the Daily Shop, Point Shop, Starfall, Item Shop, Merch Shop, and Purchase Devil Points options.
Daily Shop allows you to watch 1 ad per day for rewards, as well as gives you the option to use Grimm to purchase Merch of the brothers. It currently looks like there's 9 Merch options per day, with at least 1 piece of Merch per brother.
Point Shop has 2 sub-sections. The Pass Point Shop is for those who pay for VIP and get VIP Points / "Pass Points". Pass Points can be exchanged for Astrophyllite, Plushies, Essence, and Grimm. There's also Closet Points, which are the gray coins with the t-shirt on them that you get when you get duplicate clothing items from Starfall. You can use Closet Points for Merch "Shards", which are the purple diamond parts that you need to craft Merch.
Starfall just takes you to the Starfall app for wishing / pulling.
Item Shop is where you can spend IRL money for in-game items such as Shards, Astrophyllite, Devil Points, etc.
Merch Shop is where you can spend Devil Points for merch, including sets. It seems like some plushies are included which reset weekly.
Purchase Devil Points is another place to spend your IRL money, this time for Devil Points. Gold Devil Points are paid ones, and purple ones are free ones / bonuses you get. For example for $9.99 you get 160 Gold / Paid Devil Points, with 2 bonus Purple / Free Devil Points.
Work
Work is similar to the "Jobs :D" from previous games, where the brothers go try to be responsible members of society and work, and we reap the rewards. However this time, Work is automatic.
We collect Demon Boxes, with up to 3 waiting for collection at a time. You can see the timer for how long until the next Demon Box becomes available. Demon Boxes contain items like Stardust and material needed for Merch crafting.
Every 45 Demon Boxes will earn a Pandora's Box, which contains different rewards.
There are different Areas that they can work with different bonuses, though it works a lot differently than Jobs :D did.
According to the in-game Help page, new Areas are unlocked through the story.
Area Rank 2 is unlocked by obtaining more cards tied to that area.
Area Rank 3 is unlocked by collecting all of the associated Nether Nook Merch.
Work rewards do carry over between brothers! So if you have a box to collect, you can collect it from any brothers' screen, and it will be claimed for them all.
Nether Nook
This is where you can display the Merch you've been making to make your boy love you.
At current we have 9 Nether Nooks. You can access your other Nether Nooks by tapping on the button in the top right that looks like a display with a rotating arrow, right under the 'Help' question mark
On the top left you can rename your current Nether Nook, as well as mark it as either Private (by default) or Public
You can also visit other people's Nether Nooks if they've made them public
Journal
The Journal serves as a calendar, allowing you to track your mood (to a degree), add memos, see in-game accomplishments (such as achievements earned), etc.
A weekly calendar is visible by default at the top, however if you select 'Calendar' at the bottom you can see the monthly view. The brothers' birthdays + MC's are automatically added. You can add your own events by pressing the '+' on the bottom left.
To track the mood, press on the small button that says 'Today's Mood' to cycle between "None", "Bad", "Normal", and "Good".
There's also a small video news segment titled Shadow News 999, which is typically a gray box saying "Coming soon...". However 12/12/2025 does have a clip of Mammon introducing the feature so far.
Memories
Memories is accessed to the left of the "Albums" page, and it has multiple sub-pages and some sub-sub-pages. It has the Main tab, the Merch tab, the Cards tab, and the Items tab.
The Main tab is where it starts by default, and allows you to view your Achievements, select your display card, and see the other routes.
Achievements are auto-tallied on the Main page, but you can see details by pressing on the ribbon with a star in the top right. Achievements are sorted by Merch, Area, and Cards. Merch Achievements give you Devil Points, Grimm, and Shards. Area Achievements give you Devil Points, Grimm, and the occasional Astrophyllite. Card Achievements give you Grimm and the occasional Astrophyllite.
Card Select is the button next to the Achievements ribbon, and looks like a notepad and pen. It lets you choose the display card for the brother from the cards you've obtained. It defaults to the Main Story card with their full body, however you can choose to make it the event card.
Selecting the ring at the top right of the Main page allows you to view the other routes and see their affinities.
The Merch tab allows you to check the merch for each Area / theme, organized by brother.
The Cards tab allows you to view the cards that you've obtained, and as mentioned previously is how you access the event / card stories. This is also how you check the 'Rank' of the card (how many times you've obtained it / how many stars it has), and the rewards you earn for obtaining a card multiple times.
From what I've gathered so far, the Demon's Party tab is likely to be the event / special cards, and there's a separate tab for Main Story cards.
The Items tab is your inventory screen, showing you the items you've collected. It's sorted by Consumables, Material (for making Merch), Nether Nook Merch, and Treasured Times (I think Treasured Times is Merch that you've bought from Akuzon, compared to Merch you've made?)
Affinity / "Partner Points"
There's a few different ways to gain Affinity / "Partner Points". You can Create Merch, complete Achievements, collecting Cards, or gaining "Demon Points".
"Demon Points" is the little chatty speech bubble on the Home screen. While it's a fairly simple way of raising your affinity, it's set up so you can't spam it.
When you tap on the brother on the Home screen, they'll give you some dialogue, then fill up the little speech bubble meter a certain amount. You can keep tapping them for dialogue and continue filling up the meter.
Once the meter is full, you'll gain 1 "Essence", and the meter resets.
HOWEVER! There is a limit! Once you have filled the meter it seems like 3-4 times in a day, the brother will have a few lines of dialogue implying that they're busy and unable to pay attention to you at that moment, and to come back later. The meter will remain full and will not empty for at least a few hours.
The bubble and it's fullness carries over to all of the brothers! So if you were to max it out with Mammon and he tells you he's busy, and you switch over to Asmo's 'route', Asmo's bubble will be full and he will give you his dialogue indicating that he's busy.
HOME
There's lots of buttons on the Home page so I figured I'd cover those real quick too. The Home Page shows you the brother you currently have selected as your Partner, the time, date, and weather of your current location (if you gave the app these permissions). As for the buttons on the right side:
Hamburger Menu / Three Lines Menu
This gives you additional options such as the Settings, the ability to Link Account (transfer data between devices), Return to Title Screen, Adjust your Schedule (your wake up, bed time, meal times, etc), Help, Support, Language, Websites, and the More option.
Selecting More gives you the option to see the Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Legal Notices, Content Usage Guidelines, and the Special Thanks
Gift Box / Presents
This is where you claim rewards and can view previously claimed gifts. It also indicates when it was claimed, and what the reward was for.
This only shows the latest 100 claimed items, and it only shows the last 30 days worth.
Mail / Notifications
This is where you can find News articles and an Issues tab for known bugs
Closet
Here's where you can use the clothes you get in Starfall! You can either mix and match, or use the Majolish Sets.
Majolish Sets are full outfits, and as of game's release there's only their fancy demon forms, their sleep wear in it's original and alternate colors. I believe that those who supported the GoFundMe at certain tiers also have their wedding outfits?
For the mix and match there's multiple categories to choose from. There's Hat, Outer, Tops, Bottoms, Socks, Shoes, Accessories (containing Eyewear and Necklaces).
You can also star your favorite combinations.
NOTE: If your chosen outfit does not match what is in the Main Story, you will have the option to select to view the Main Story in their Default Outfit, or with the outfit that you have put them in
Hide UI
This is the button that looks like an eye with a slash through it. This hides all the buttons and everything so it's just the brother and whatever background they're currently in front of.
Note: The background seems to be affected by your Schedule, so they are at Home when you're likely to be home, at Work when you're likely to be working, etc.
MISC
Astrophyllite is a blue crystal cluster that can apparently be used to further 'power up' a card, and can be used in place of obtaining an additional copy of the card via Starfall. You can use an Astrophyllite by going to the card you want to use it on, select 'Details' on the next level of the card, and then confirm 'Use' if you have any available.
When creating Merch, anything you have not yet crafted will have a colored heart with horns. As @rado-brisingr pointed out, the first time you make Merch you get Affinity / Partner Points!
The game itself is a little off putting visually in what we’re used to, but the visuals are MUCH better in comparison to the 3D models we got in Nightbringer. The brother’s movements are very stiff and unnatural, which made it a little jarring at first. However, I think they’re growing on me.
I am disappointed by the lack of animated intro. This is something we’re used to with the OG and Nightbringer games, and some of the only times we get ‘quality’ animation of the boys from Solmare. (By ‘quality’, I am comparing the intro videos to the anime, the anime being generally lacking - but understandable that they didn’t have a huge budget for it).
The UI is also very barren and a bit confusing. However, we have seen quality of life UI changes in the previous game, so I’m sure they’ll update soon.
The in-game ‘Apps’ are a bit boring. I find the Nether Nook mechanic boring and low quality - and the virtual merch very strange compared to what we’re used to. I feel like the money spent developing this part could have been used to make other parts of this game much much better. I already miss Nightmare, and Starfall seems like it will be hard to pull cards from, since it’s flooded with ugly clothes pngs.
Speaking of ugly clothes pngs, I do not care for that function. I love the majolish outfits and getting to customize them with actual visuals that look put together, but everything you can get from Starfall is just so boring and generally does not look good on any of the boys. Feels like they blew the budget on this.
It takes way WAAAYYYY too long to collect materials to build more merch to increase your intimacy level. Waiting 8 hours for 3 refills is one thing, but WHAT DO YOU MEAN it’s actually 8 hours PER 1 refill??? And there’s no way to buy more? In fact, there has been no incentive in the game that makes me actually want to pay for VIP or items, it’s very strange to see them go in this direction. I’d easily pay for VIP if it actually gave more roses or storylines/ ways to progress the main story.
And why is there no way to give pookie gifts anymore? I wanna give them food and little presents and pat their head 😡
I miss the mini games. I miss their little dancey dance and I miss Ruri Tunes. I am a huge rhythm game fan though, and I know Ruri Tunes was not for everyone. But I wish we had a little something even resembling a mini game for story progression. Grinding merch collection for story progression is no fun :(
The note feature and news seems kinda useless right now, and another thing that I think could have been implemented better but I’m ready to give it time and see where it goes.
I hate that the undateable not only don’t have models, they don’t even have full sprites half of the time! That made it feel so much more rushed.
Also: Beel fans I am so sorry your man should not be built like that where’s the muscle??? 😭
Now let’s talk about some things I was pleasantly surprised with:
The writing. I am in love with it. I feel it is so much closer to the OG boys than Nightbringer ever was. I already talked about it, but I adore that they made Mammon playfully mean again. I missed that aspect of him sooo much in NB and I feel like this writing is a good middle ground between NB and the OG.
The story is wacky and convoluted and exactly what you’d expect from Obey Me! What do you mean we got roofied and now we’re trapped in a fake version of RAD filled with bombs? Oh, you wanna get married? Sweet. Found myself smiling and laughing and kicking my feet.
The music in this one. I feel like they really went off. I’ve loved all the backing tracks so far.
They are finally breaking away from pg-13 and leaning more into the nsfw aspect, which while still mild, I super appreciate as, you know, an adult player. I don’t want the game to feel like a high school romance.
Overall:
I’m interested to see where this goes. Do I think it should have been released in the state it’s in? Not exactly, but I’m also not exactly complaining about it either because it still made me really happy.
I really really hope they dive in to this one because there is just sooooo much more they could be doing. I really miss the story aspect of the game with the lessons and stuff, so I hope that abandoning that to make an LADS type game pays off in the end in terms of content.
Any game that lets me look at Mammon is top of the charts in my book
The trope where people don't recognize each other because it's been so long since they last interacted and they've both changed so much that they're basically strangers UNTIL one of them does their Signature Thing™ and the other just stops dead because oh. It's YOU. All at once it's so clearly you
