My Final AD Prediction

I am torn between Twincer and Ezra BUT Ezra is my final prediction only due to the following:

The show was only planned for 5 seasons. Ezra started getting suspicious in season 4, taking Aria away from her friends and getting her to trust him. We see his lairs but then it turns out it was just for a book? No. This is pre-reveal stuff and the final reveal was originally planned for season 5. Look at what AD is doing to Aria now, just like Ezra did.

I am unfortunately convinced that AD is Ezra. I just hope it’s for a good reason.

Ezra “Chick Peas” Fitz is Charles the Great?

“I have a masters degree in American Literature. There’s nothing I can’t handle.” - Ezra Fitz, Pretty Little Liars Ep. 7x19

After 7 long years, our beloved Pretty Little Liars is finally coming to an end in just one day, can you believe it?!  After investing so much time and effort into this show I really needed the “Who is Charles” mystery solved before the finale airs because it has been driving me crazy and I won’t be surprised if I end up in Radley next to Mona after the show ends.

So, after a thousand red herrings and a million characters to sift through, I need this mystery to not only be solved but to make sense! Like any obsessive PLL fan, I have been scouring the web for theories convincing enough for this particular character to make sense and after countless hours of my life wasted I am convinced Ezra Fitzgerald is Charles DiLaurentis. With that being said, could this be the ultimAte clue we needed in order to crack this mystery all along? 

3 Important Takeaways from the above screenshot from Wikipedia regarding the history of chick peas:

1. Chickpeas are mentioned in Charlemagne’s Capitulare de villis. We all know the name Charlemagne is the root name for Charles, and Charles is a HUGE part of this show’s mystery. We have all been told to believe that CeCe/Charlotte Drake is the real Charles and that he is transgender, but I think this is one of CeCe’s biggest lies. Why would she lie about that? To protect the real Charles, of course. Her own flesh and blood, her brother Charles DiLaurentis a.k.a. Ezra Fitz. This explains why Ezra had CeCe on his payroll. She was playing the game with/for him.

2. In 1793, ground-roast chickpeas were noted by a German writer as a substitute for coffee. This one is pretty self-explanatory. Ezra owns the Brew, a coffee shop.

And wait a second, did I just spot a clue within a clue! Does that label say “Sun Sun” Chick peas with a big bright sunshine on the label? A Bethany clue? Is Bethany Young Ezra’s sister?

3. In the First World War, they were grown for this use in some areas of Germany. The WWI and German references. Enough said.

I haven’t seen anybody post about this yet, but does anybody remember Detective Wilden’s board? And the AD threatened by SH and SH threatened by AD - Power Play? Considering the title for tomorrow’s episode, are we about to find out what this really means? Also knowing this, is it safe to say that AD is really Alison? I am still so rooting for the Alison we see now to actually be her twin and AD is the real Ali playing the game. Also I want to note that we thought SH stood for Sara Harvey, but considering she’s supposed to be dead at this point, does that mean it really does stand for Spencer Hastings? I hope this episode really does answer this question. The wording is too coincidental not to have something to do with it….

We all know Spencer Hastings is infamous for wearing Argyle print sweaters. We saw her wearing a red Argyle print sweater in the pilot episode and most recently a pink one in episode 7x08 "Exes and OMGs" and in other episodes throughout the series. So, I figured there had to be some significance for the Argyle print. After doing some sleuthing as to what the Argyle print represented I stumbled across this definition on Wikipedia and other dictionary sites. We all know the Campbell farm is signigicant on this show as well as the British connection a.k.a Wren. Now, I know I may be reaching, and that this is almost too good to be true, but could this be pointing toward Spencer twin and Wren's involvement? Just a thought, but maybe last night’s episode was pretty dull because the next episode is the one that was directed by Troian. So maybe they set it up that way on purpose so Troian’s episode, even though I know it’s going to be awesome either way, will just look that much better.

The puzzle is going to be a sonogram. It will reveal that Mary carried twins ! Spencer Twin? A fraternal twin ? Or one of Mary’s other pregnancies resulted in twins !
