i’m literally coming to the realization that i’m not close to anybody anymore and it sucks
I don't think suicidal people get enough credit for not acting on their suicidal thoughts.
This post is for all of you who have survived the urge to end your life, either coming out the other side or still fighting to stay alive.Â
I noticed how when someone has a physical illness such as cancer, and they come out the other side or even remission, they are able to celebrate surviving. I think all of the survivors of being suicidal should too.
Congratulations, and keep on fighting.

feeling really good about getting your grades back up and maybe finding a major you are good at and being able to escape the pressure to compete with someone you’ve been losing to for 8 years of your life only to have them change into the major you want and show you up with no fucking effort…
that feeling is what makes me want to fucking die

Mental illnesses aren’t clear cut. Symptoms over lap. Symptoms contradict. Some days are better than others. Some days are worse than others. It can get messy. No matter where you are on the spectrum- your thoughts & feelings are valid. You are precious. You deserve to be listened to. You deserve compassion. Just because X over there is struggling a bit more than you today, it doesn’t make you any less worthy of support.

hold your breath for 7 seconds
exhale breath for 8 seconds
repeat once or twice more.
