Phil was sitting in the tree. looking over Las Navadas, he was just spying, Techno was curious on this place. And wanted Phil to look over since he’s busy.

He looked over the area, trying to get a closer look, eventually landing on the ground with a thud.

(Secret stealth mission: failed)

During his usual daily rounds, Quackity made sure to be on extra high alert. Rumors had spread of spies, and though he didn't mind rumors, it didn't hurt to be extra careful.

It turned out to be a good thing, though, as he whipped around to see a familiar blonde fallen to the floor out of the tree. His wings pinned against his head, eye narrowing as he stormed up to the man.

"Philza, what are you doing here?" He spoke quietly, though his tone was filled with venom.

“Just…flying around.” Phil looked up, rubbing his head. “Was curious about everything happening around here.”

"I am not an idiot. Do not treat me as such." He hissed, baring his teeth. He stared down at the man, his wings spreading in order to make himself bigger, an automatic response rooted in his DNA.

"You know that yourself and the rest of your group isn't welcome here. So I suggest you get out of here before you find out what a Las Nevadas prison cell looks like."

”Okay look, Techno was just curious about this place, he sent me to mainly take a look. Didn’t mean to intrude.” Phil mumbled, sitting up.

"Techno wasn't just curious. You know that as well as I." Quackity hissed, bending at the waist in order to meet Philza face-to-face.

"I don't take spies lightly. I don't take attacks on my nation lightly. I want you to run back home to wherever you live, and warn your group that I'm stronger now."

Quackity was still deathly afraid of Technoblade. He still had nightmares over what happened to his eye, and how it felt trying to heal it by himself. But he was willing to fight for his land, he cared about his people more than himself.

”I’m not fucking scared of you Quackity.” He glared.

"You're in the wrong place. I don't need to scare you to hurt you, Phil." He threatened, his golden tooth poking from the split of his lip, standing up straight once more.

Phil glared. “Bring it bitch. I’m not fucking leaving.”

Quackity tightly gripped at Philza's kimono, pulling him up to his feet. Despite his height, he had a surprising amount of strength. When standing, he made the older man crouch to his height, eye narrowing as he stared into his eyes.

"You don't understand how serious I am, Minecraft. Get out of Las Nevadas." He growled, using the name with venom.

For the first time in a long time, Phil flinched, looking at Quackity with a look of terror, a sense of familiarity washing over the crow, his ears lowered slightly as he put his hands out in self defense, was he shaking?…

Quackity's wings shrunk down, taking a step back. He refused to feel empathetic for Phil, reminding himself that he isn't anything but his enemy. He couldn't trust those close to Techno, no matter how much he understood the look in his eyes.

"I'm... serious. Get out." He said, this time his voice less harsh.

”I’m…” Phil took a shaky breath, glaring at Quackity. “What are you going to do if I don’t?”

He blinked for a moment, frowning.

"I'm going to do something that you and I both are going to regret." His expression hardened, and he clenched his fists to his side. "You have one life left. Please just leave."

“I’ve only had one life…anything besides that though.” Phil turned his head, wings twitching slightly, feeling a blush forming.

"Stop! This isn't some fucking, bargaining thing. You're trespassing. Do you understand me??" Quackity asked, his eye wide as he tried to make the other understand.

“Yeah I get that- keep in mind I’m an anarchist Quackity I don’t really care.” Phil glared.

Quackity stood up straight, turning around and growling under his breath in frustration. He didn't want to hurt Philza, he really didn't. But he didn't want it to seem like he was an okay person to be messed with. He wasn't okay for things like that.

He turned around, taking his enchanted axe from his inventory, pointing it at the blonde. He stared at his wings for a moment, thoughts circling through his head, memories of being taught how to preen. He thought about how Phil was the only other avian on the server, the only other person he could trust in the beginning to open himself up to regarding his lack of flight.

His wings instinctively curled under his shirt, feeling a little more sensitive. He was usually used to it, but the dull pain felt sharp for a moment when he remembered what it used to feel like to have gentle hands know what they were doing. Philza was much older than himself, and was somebody that Quackity used to look up to, but he couldn't bare the thought now.

His hand dropped a little, the glint in his eye becoming one of mourning rather than anger. "Please, just leave. I can't, I don't want any more fucking wars, okay? Tell Techno that I'm not doing any nasty shit, I want people to be safe here."

Phil blinked, scanning Quackity with a look of worry. “Look uhm, are you okay? You look a bit stressed.” He eyes his wings briefly. “One avian to another, when did you clean your wings last? Like, preening?” He asked, clearly worried, his own wings flapping.

Quackity's eye widened, caught off guard by the question. He wasn't sure how Philza could change the subject so quickly, or how he could ask the golden avian something so gentle whilst he was so angry.

"What? That's-" He stuttered for a moment, turning away from him. "I don't see why that would be any of your business." His response was a clear answer, but that's all he would be saying.

”Just…kinda noticed.” Phil blinked.

The wings in place of his ears shuttered, flat against his face. His axe found its way into his inventory, his now free arms crossing uncomfortably.

"Can I... talk to you. In my office. Just you and I, I'm not going to do anything sneaky."

He said, his voice low as he offered the olive branch.

Phil nodded, getting up.

Quackity hastily led Phil to his office, making sure they didn't run into many people. He opened the door once he got there, shutting it behind the blonde as he walked in.

"Please be honest with me here, Phil. What are you doing here?" His tone was much less aggressive, and the look in his eye was much more gentle.

“Look uh, kinda uh, needed help with uh wings…so- kinda figured- then Techno wanted me to check out this area- so…” He mumbled.

"What do you mean needed help with wings? What--, what does that have to do with anything?" Quackity asked, his own wings pinning against his head as if to protect themselves.

Phil’s wings twitched a bit, they looked a bit broken and uncared for. “Just uh, we both are kinda in the same boat when it comes to wings being uncared for…”

The avian turned his head, face red. "Mine aren't... they aren't uncared for. They're fine." He then looked back, standing stiffly as he crossed his arms. "Did you expect my help with that?" He scoffed defensively, rolling his eye.

“Well kinda…didn’t think there were other avians around here is all…” Phil mumbled awkwardly. “Are you sure they are fine?”

"There aren't." He said at the mention of others with their hybrid type. Quackity looked down, now keenly aware of how badly his wings itched in their fixed position. "They're... yeah. They're fine." He paused for a moment, looking at the blonde with a grimace. "It's not obvious, is it-?"

”Somewhat obvious-“ Phil mumbled, his own wings showing the messed up feathers.

"Fuck." Quackity ran a hand through his hair, looking a little more nervous. "Phil, I," He paused, making sure his sleeves were rolled up, the tattoos lined by scars newer from what the older avian must've last seen.

"I don't, do that. I can't help you, I don't preen." He saw the wings that stood tall behind Philza, understanding the feeling of the uncomfortable sticking of places. But he didn't have gentle hands, and couldn't trust him to be that close to the other, especially with his fear of Technoblade. And call him selfish, but Quackity wasn't willing to do something for the other while his own wings were near ruin.

He didn't need help, though. If he didn't need help, he didn't need to help. "Was that all?" He asked, his exhaustion creeping into his expression.

Phil inhaled slowly. “I can help you you know, I know how to preen. I won’t hurt you.” He looked at Quackity, looking with a vacant expression.

A flinch from the smaller avian, ears flicking themselves out as if with a mind of their own. "I don't-" He cut himself off with a bite of his lip at the idea. "I don't believe you." His tone was meek, a staggering difference from what he had shown much earlier.

”Fair enough.” Phil spoke, continuing to look, worry growing larger. “Just…let me try?…mayhaps?”

Quackity crossed his arms, gripping the skin his hands made contact with. He bit into his lip, unsure of what to say for a moment. After the silence, he looked at Philza. "Do you promise-?"

Phil nods. “I promise.”

".....okay." He took a deep breath, his shoulders dropping. "Is there, uh, somewhere you want me to sit or something?"

Phil looks around, pulling a chair over. “Does this work?”

"Yeah, well enough." The smaller avian sat down awkwardly, hands clutching at his pants as he stared at the floor. "Do you need me to do anything, or-?"

Quackity leaned against the open window, blowing the smoke from his mouth out into the fresh air. He was usually a productive man, promise! But he wasn't feeling very motivated. It was cold out, winter had finally come around, and his fake desert was... very fake. The warmness once given during summer had faded to the low 50's (ferineheight) ((10-15 celcuius)) weather.

So, considering all of the conjoining factors, the owner of Las Nevadas decided to look for his favorite person. Heavily indicated sarcasm, of course.

Despite the fact that he would probably just be very annoying and not help, maybe it would cure some boredom. He was entertained by him, though he would never say it aloud.

"Wilbur, hello."

He said with a grin, stepping up to the other man near his gas station just outside of the country.

Wilbur had been peacefully leaning against the wall of said gas station, puffing on his cigarette and having no care for ruining the air by polluting it with the smoke. Then he heard the voice which spoke to him; He knew that voice all too well. He smirked as he looked down.. the height difference was comical to him.

“Quackity,” was all he responded with, a very smug smirk on his face as he thought up ways to get on Quackity’s nerves today.

"No, I'm making us even. You asked for this, I'm going to give it to you!" He said with a large grin, continuing with what he was doing. He stayed on that spot for a moment, taking advantage of the tone of laughter it caused. "You'll be sorry, trust me." Without warning, he bent down and gave Wilbur a raspberry on the showing skin. "I'll stop when you are!"

The shriek that escaped from Wilbur was certainly.. very loud.

“NahAHAHA QUAHACKIHITY!” The new sensation sent Wilbur straight into hysterics. “Dohohon’t doho thAHAT!”

"Wilbur!" Quackity mocked. Though, at the request, he quickly changed his tactic to something more gentle, trailing his hands to and down the sides to be sure he didnt overstep the boundaries in place.

"You okay there, man?" He asked, completely removing his hands to make sure everything was alright and that he didn't make the other upset.

Wilbur panted, somewhat catching his breath. “Yehes- yes, I’m okay. Didn’t actually upset me or cross a boundary or anything of you’re thinking that, I promise.” He was quick to clear it up.

The avian sighed softly, glad he didn't do anything wrong. He ran a hand through his hair, expression changing to a lighthearted smile like usual. "Other than that, would you call us even now?"

Wilbur playfully scoffed and rolled his eyes, a small smirk on his face now as he sat up. “Yeah, yeah. Whatever.” He crossed his ankles over each other and leaned back against the couch, his hands stuffed in his pockets.

"Just wanted to make sure we were on the same page. It sucks to lose, I know. But you're taking it like a champ." Quackity teased with a chuckle, sitting back down on the couch as well.

“I will not hesitate to murder you if you do not shut your mouth.” He kept his tone light hearted, trying to show he wasn’t entirely serious. He sat up straight.

He rolled his eye. "If your murder is anything like what happened, I'm not concerned." He made sure his voice was confident, but moved a little further away from the Brit. He wasn't worried, but he was a little bit worried.

“You’re moving away, I think you are concerned.” His smirk widened a little and he moved slightly closer. “Have anymore snarky remarks for me?”

"I wouldn't call them snarky. More truthful than anything. And I'm not concerned, it's just very warm where you are." He lied through his teeth, a half smile making its way to his face.

“You sure?” He moved closer again. He was not gonna let this go. “You sure you’re not at least a little concerned, maybe worried, because you know exactly what wil happen?”

Quackity's smile became a little more nervous, regretting his actions as Wilbur pressed. "No, not at all. Nothing is going to happen, I am sure of it." The wings in place of his ears shook out, a couple stray feathers following as they pinned themselves back against his head.

“Oh?” Wilbur raised an eyebrow. “Is that so?”

He moved again, and suddenly he was right next to Quackity. His smirk was one full of mischief as he hovered a hand over Quackity’s side, intentionally dragging this out.

Quackity moved to the best of his ability once again, pressed into the arm of the couch. He leaned away from the hand that he felt, refusing to look at Wilbur now. "Absolutely not. Is there a reason you're getting so close? Did you miss me?" Objectively, messing with the other more wasn't going to help, but he hoped it would distract him from the task at hand.

“Are you trying to dig yourself a deeper grave?” He shaped his hand kind of like a claw and rested it on the smaller’s side, ever so slightly digging his fingers in as a warning.

There was a flinch at the slow movement, Quackity quickly snatching up Wilbur's wrist and holding it away from his body. He bit back the pre-giggle that threatened to leave him, turning to look at Wilbur. "I'm not digging anything. I am sitting on the couch." He continued to deny.

Wilbur snickered at the remark. “Okay then.”

That was all he said before freeing his hand, and bringing both of his hands to Quackity’s torso and tasering his sides. He then started started squeezing up and down his sides, daring to get his hips a few times as well.

He yelped, quickly pushing at Wilbur's sides. He did his best to push at them, but he didn't have much strength behind it as he was preoccupied with the spurts of tasers to his hips. "Wilbhbur!" He gasped, thrashing as usual.

“Is something wrong, Quackity?” He played dumb as he now drilled his thumbs on the nerves above Quackity’s hips. His grin widened a little as he was pushed, it didn’t stop him.

He cackled, trying to twist his body away from Wilbur and his evil hands. "WilbUR! NohOho, I cahaHAN'T!" The avian continued to try to push at him, blabbering out nonsense. Though, he was careful to avoid the word stop, so communications were never muddied.

“You can, though. You haven’t even told me to stop.” He smirked, before leaning forward and blowing a raspberry where Quackity’s neck meets his shoulder. He giggled evilly against the skin before pulling away, moving his hands to scribble along the smaller’s back.

Quackity squealed at the raspberry and the sensation of the other man pressed against his skin, but squealed even louder before he got the chance to recover. His wings extended, flapping about as he laughed loudly. His noises were bright and happy, even as he struggled around. The struggle, that found him flipped where he sat, back to Wilbur as he tried and failed to fight the other off.

Quackity leaned against the open window, blowing the smoke from his mouth out into the fresh air. He was usually a productive man, promise! But he wasn't feeling very motivated. It was cold out, winter had finally come around, and his fake desert was... very fake. The warmness once given during summer had faded to the low 50's (ferineheight) ((10-15 celcuius)) weather.

So, considering all of the conjoining factors, the owner of Las Nevadas decided to look for his favorite person. Heavily indicated sarcasm, of course.

Despite the fact that he would probably just be very annoying and not help, maybe it would cure some boredom. He was entertained by him, though he would never say it aloud.

"Wilbur, hello."

He said with a grin, stepping up to the other man near his gas station just outside of the country.

Wilbur had been peacefully leaning against the wall of said gas station, puffing on his cigarette and having no care for ruining the air by polluting it with the smoke. Then he heard the voice which spoke to him; He knew that voice all too well. He smirked as he looked down.. the height difference was comical to him.

“Quackity,” was all he responded with, a very smug smirk on his face as he thought up ways to get on Quackity’s nerves today.
