DINCOBB || “Getting him a droid.”

Summary: Din gives in too easily and surprises Cobb.
Translations: (blue for intended word)
Cyar'ika: darling, sweetheart
Ner riduur: my husband, wife, partner, spouse
mesh’la: beautiful
cyare: beloved, loved, popular
Sand flew in the air as the couple drove on their speeders, Grogu sitting with Din as the wind caught in his ears, flapping them around with a smile on the his face. The three we’re going to Mos Eisley to wander around the market place, a comfortable silence between the older two as they approached a familiar face.
“You’re back!” Peli beamed, arms up in the air as she smiled at the three. “Where’s my little one?!” Grogu jumped himself out of Din’s hold, waddling towards the lady, “There you are! You guys been taking care if him, right?” She asked, picking Grogu up.
“Yes, Peli, we’ve been taking care of him just fine.” Din reassured her, hopping off his speeder as Cobb did the same, walking up to his armoured partner “Peli, this is Cobb Vanth. Cobb, this is Peli Motto.” He introduced the two, Peli reaching her hand out for a handshake, Cobb accepted, shaking the woman’s hand slightly surprised by her gasp.
“Who’s the lucky one?” She asked, holding Cobbs hand and staring at the wide metal ring on his finger, a word carved in Mando’a at the front of it. Cobb laughed slightly and grabbled Din’s hand with his free one, showing an identical ring to Peli, “Oh my gosh! Well, congratulations you two! Oh, I am so happy for you! What do they say?” She beamed once more, a soft grin on her face.
“Love You, My Love.” Mando answered, turning his hand around to show the singular letter on the bottom of the ring. Cobbs ring holding the “My” as Din’s hels the “You”, “Oh well isn’t that adorable. Anyway, what are you three doing down here?! Not that I’m complaining but you don’t visit all that often, you should really change that.” She said, whispering the last part, she’d missed seeing the two, mainly Grogu but, Din too.
“We came to wander ‘round the Market place, we were going to take Grogu but, he seems like he’d rather spend time with you.” Cobb answered, tucking his hand in his pocket. “Well, go ahead! I’ll keep the little guy ‘till you two are done!” Peli said, walking away before Din could argue with her, “Come on you droids! Get outta my way, mister!” Her voice grew quieter as she walked further away.
Din sighed and shook his head, “She’s pretty persistent.” Cobb commented, Din nodded in agreement, “Thats she is. C’mon, Ner riduur.” Taking the younger man’s hand, his rough glove softly intertwining with Cobb’s bare skin. The two continued through the city, hand in hand as they scanned the Market place, Cobb pointing to things that picked at his interest, the Mandalorian moving his eyes to every single thing his partner showed him, a warm smile sat on the masked man. Cobb had pointed to a line of droids, beaming as he saw one he particularly liked, Din grumbled and shook his head “We’re not getting a droid, Cyar'ika.” He said, pulling the man away from the stand. “Why not?” Cobb asked, that adorable look of confusion on his face, “Cause we aren’t.” Din said plainly, “That ain’t a reason, Mando.” The younger one argued back, Din tilted his helmet as a look of “no.” Cobb sighed at his husband’s silent dissagreement, “Fine, you win.” He smiled, squeezing Din’s hand and pulling him to another stand to annoy him. The older man sighed once more, the breath turning into a chuckle as he followed his lover around all the stands.
The two had finished wandering around, Cobb had got the three of them some ear cuffs with the Tatooine mountains etched into them. Grogu sat, quietly slurping his soup as the other three sat around, having a drink as they chatted, “You get anything?” Peli asked, picking up Grogu’s finished bowl and passing it to one of her droids. “Yeah, got some ear cuffs.” Cobb answered, pulling the bag out his pocket, shaking the jewellery into his hand. “Oh those are nice!” She smiled, picking one up and admiring it, “Good choice.”
“Thanks.” Cobb smiled, placing the three metal rings on the table before picking one up and securing it onto Grogu’s ear, doing the same for himself. “Din?” He spoke to the other man, holding the cuff out to him, “Thanks, Cyar'ika.” Din said softly, waking away to a more private spot to put his cuff on before walking back into the room. “Cobb?”, “Yes, mesh’la?” Cobb answered, the use of Mando’a made Din’s heart flutter as his face flushed. “You take Grogu back home, I’m gonna discuss some stuff with Peli.” The grey haired man nodded, “Of course, Mando, don’t be too long though!” He warned, Din chuckled “I wont, I promise.” The two shared a Keldabe kiss before Cobb picked Grogu up and walked out to his speeder, riding off after waving to the two, Din and Peli waved back and turned around, “Sooo?” Peli tilted her head. “I need you to help me with a droid.” Din blurted out, shock spread on Peli’s face, “Well, alright! Lets go!” She beamed, pulling Din to the Market, “I don’t have any for sale, and I’m guessing you saw one out here.” Din nodded, “Cobb saw an R-series, I want you to check it out. Looks like your little guy that you lent to me.”
“Well, look at you! Giving in to the droids.” Peli teased as they came up the the droid stand, “Can we check out your droids?” She asked the stand man, “Go ahead, ma’am.” He said, extending his arm towards the droid’s in permission. Peli thanked the man, walking over to the droid Din pointed to and checking it over. “Looks good as new, highly recommend getting this guy.” She told him, Din nodded and asked how much the droid was, it was quite a price but he didn’t mind, he’d get it no matter the price.
The two walked back to Din’s speeder, the droid quickly following behind them. “How should I transport this guy?” He asked Peli, she held her finger out and called her repair units which came running to her. She asked the three to get her an extra droid seat, Din wore a confused face beneath the metal covering him, “Just a moment, Mando.”
The three droids came back, struggling to carry what looked like a type of cot, but for a droid? They shooed Mando away from his speeder, quickly attaching the extra seat onto his ride. A few moments later the three ran off, letting Peli lift up the droid into the seat. “There ya’ go! Don’t worry about paying me, that thing wasn’t ever going away.” She said strongly, there was no point disagreeing with her, “Thank you, Peli.”
“Yeah, yeah. Whatever, go on!” Peli ushered the man, “I got clients coming soon! Out!” Din chuckled at her urgency, hopping on the speeder and immediately taking off down the sandy grounds.
The armoured man had arrived at Mos Pelgo, parking his speeder beside Cobb’s as the familiar two sat on the porch, Grogu playing with Cobb’s red bandanna around his neck. “You’re back!” He beamed, picking up Grogu and walking towards Din, “I got you something…” Din mumbled, Cobb’s head turned with his words, Din got off his speeder and picked up the droid, placing it in-front of Cobb.
“Holy- Din, you-” the man was at a loss for words, placing Grogu on the seat of Din’s speeder and throwing his arms around the older man. Din laughed, hugging Cobb back, who squeezed him as hard as he could, “Thank you.” Cobb grinned, pressing a kiss to Din’s armoured cheek. “It’s no problem, Cyar'ika.” Din’s cheeks felt numb from the huge smile on his face, pulling his husband’s face towards him and lightly resting his forehead on Cobb’s.
“It doesn’t have a name…” Din told him.
“Cyare.”
Ahhh, my first ever one part fic! Y’all need to thank my mutual Eddie, cause his edit caption gave me the idea!

Rereading the EW Article, and these parts have made my brain come up with a Scenario that I cannot stop thinking about!
Like, we all know that Raylan’s always lived for the thrill of the chase — catching the Bad Guy is the goal, of course, but it’s the risky process leading up to that point that Raylan really enjoys & thrives on.
But now, with Willa growing up, and his mandatory retirement approaching fast, Raylan’s choices are going to be messier than usual. Hunt down the Bad Guy, because it might be his last chance to do it? Or be there for Willa, because it might be his last chance to do it?
And the Creatives behind City Primeval are being pretty overt about how Raylan may not survive this one:
Usually, a warning like that is an empty one. It helps to keep the tension in the show.
But I got to thinking. What if, throughout this show (much like the first six seasons), Raylan has a bunch of close-calls. Exciting for the viewer, to see him survive near-misses, but with Willa so close by, it could be a wake-up-call for Raylan. He makes it through the storyline — he catches the Bad Guy, and keeps Willa safe. And we all (Raylan included) breathe a sigh of relief. It’s over, and he’s okay.
Then something draws him back to Harlan. And it’s there — maybe even unrelated to his job as a Marshal, when it’s least expected — that he’s killed.
Because You’ll Never Leave Harlan Alive.

i posted a boba fett trans pride/ally drawing on my instagram yesterday and got so much goddam backlash from angry fanboys who tried telling me that boba fett doesn't support trans/nb people or they/them pronouns. obviously they don't know SHIT about boba fett so i drew this petty ass comic as a response. goodnight bitches.
I saw this on a Mandalorian themed pinball machine recently and I realize this is Ashoka’s but it made it look like Cobb had a lightsaber and I 👀👀👀
