Had a dream the other night that the Jigglypuff line got a fourth evolution for some reason called Gigglyguff that was just Wigglytuff but even more elongated. Now it's everyone's problem.

With that out of the way though!! This is my end of a holiday gift exchange for @on-tempo-off-beat !! I learned to use Blender in like a month for this so please be nice to me about it.

A recent commission I finished for my friend Gray!! This is Audrey Gravescreams from Trixie Slaughteraxe for President. I don't offer animated commissions as a regular option because I'm wildly inconsistent about speed and motivation when it comes to things this involved, but sometimes I make special exceptions.

(My commissions are currently closed but there'll be some exciting news on that front in the near future, hopefully!!)

Self-reblog but to add some more commentary - this video/PMV/animatic/whatever was like a year in the making in large part because I forgot it existed for a few months before coming back to it, but all the same. Kids love behind the scenes stuff so I'm putting some work in progress stuff under the cut, including the original thumbnails for when the fey mood originally possessed me and I had to shut myself in a room about it for like three days straight.

You'll note I originally was gonna do this in my more "standard" art style - the pivot to the more cartoony version was at the advice of a friend of mine who works in animation.

All assets were drawn in Procreate and assembled/animated in Procreate Dreams. Unfortunately due to the nature of me shuffling layers around a bunch I fucked up and managed to obscure Luis's lab key in the shot where Leon's rifling through his depression mementos and was too lazy to fix it. There was originally going to be a photo of himself and Sherry in there too, but I couldn't figure out how to make it recognizable for such a short shot.

You can tell I was learning to use this app for longer projects because my layers get less tremendously fucked up as the video goes on.

Practicing digital painting and drawing from actual references for once with a screencap redraw. I did this once before in like 2023 and I like to think I've gotten better at actually paying attention to what I'm doing.
