Started a Randomized Soullocke of Pokemon HeartGold with my boyfriend, who has little to no experience with Pokémon. And he obviously lost our first run.

I left to go randomize two new runs for us, and when I come back he says so sweet and innocent that he returned to the Pokemon Center after losing the battle and that he still had all his mons, asking why we can’t just keep the run going, not understanding that the rules of a Soullocke are self imposed. I felt like a parent explaining death to a kid after a beloved pet’s death.

He was just so bummed out after it. :(

So far reading Harry Potter, the only thing that I can tell is that the Ministry of Magic is so incompetent that it hurts. Like they place themselves above muggle society, but the only thing I have seen them do is falsely imprison people (Hagrid and Sirius) and be so corrupt that a single former follower of Voldemort (Malfoy), this ages most evil wizard, has sway of almost every facet of their system.

Like how do they have any respect as a governing body? Especially when all of your problems are being solved by middle school kids.

Just finished the book. How is it that Hedwig can at any moment find Sirius to send a letter, but the Ministry of Magic cannot? Like how is it that an owl is better than the entire magic government?

I just have to say, Tom Marvolo Riddle being an anagram for I am Lord Voldemort is the most edgy 16 year-old thing to do. Like bro was probs in his common room for hours just reorganizing his name trying to figure out how to make it into some edgelord name.

Like could you imagine the most feared and powerful person alive, who’s name shall not even be uttered out of fear, is just a name that a 16 year-old came up with as an anagram of his name.
