🌹- Isamu couldn’t believe he was actually going on a road trip with his mother. With her busy work schedule, they hadn’t had the chance to spend such quality time together until now. After putting the last of their things in the trunk of the car, he closed the trunk and turned to face his mother.

“I think that’s all of it. Are you ready to head out now mother?”

Airi let out a quiet sigh of relief.

“Thanks,” she said. “I might not be the most mature aspiring idol out there, but I’m still cut out for the job.” The girl gave a goofy smile at Isamu and stuck out her tongue.

“Ooh, want me to do your makeup, too? We can both look stupid together, and it’ll be super fun!” Airi beamed happily at her idea.

🌹- “Sure, I don’t mind at all. I don’t have anything else to do for the time being anyways.” Isamu said as he walked closer to her so he could join her. That and, he wanted to make new friends anyways and this was a good opportunity.

“Hi,” Azami replied with a dorky grin on her face. She had been watching Isamu this whole time, absorbed by both his voice and him using a banana as a microphone. The whole thing was silly and adorable, and the girl was enjoying herself.

“You’re not going to finish your song?” she asked. “Also, um, fruit can’t hear you, so…”

🌹- Isamu backed up and knelt down to turn off the music that had been playing in the background so they could speak properly. After turning the music off, he stood back up and turned to face her once again.

“I’m sorry.” He laughed nervously. “It’s just that I’m used to rehearsing by myself and noticing that you were there watching me startled me a little. Oh, and I have nothing else to sing with so I’m using the banana as a substitute.”

1. Singing loudly into an inanimate object as if it’s a microphone.

🌹- Isamu practiced his new song lyrics in the practice room. Unfortunately, there wasn’t a mic in the room for him to use so he improvised by using the banana he had brought for a snack as a substitute. He ended up getting so caught up in singing and practicing his choreography that he didn’t realize he wasn’t alone in the room at first.

Despite the audio track playing in the background, he still managed to catch the sound of the girl’s voice. He froze in his tracks upon seeing her, a flustered expression visible on his face. Looking down at the banana, he quickly hid it behind his back before looking back over at her.

“U-Um... Hello..” He replied nervously.

19. Playing with makeup, making themselves look ridiculous on purpose.

Airi stood in front of the mirror, humming and giggling to herself as she applied her makeup. With heavy neon-colored eye makeup with different shades on each eye, foundation and blush that were too dark for her skin tone, and cherry red lipstick used to overdraw her lips, it was clear the girl was playing around with the cosmetics. In fact, she looked rather similar to a circus clown.

Once she was satisfied with how silly she looked, she broke into a fit of giggles, but stopped when she noticed Isamu looking at her.

“Uh, um, er… This isn’t what it looks like?” she sputtered.

🌹- While Isamu felt awkward when he first walked in and saw her, he felt a bit different now. He nearly started laughing when he got a good look at her face. Not wanting to embarrass her, he prevented himself from doing so. At least she seemed to be enjoying herself prior to noticing him though.

“Oh no, you’re fine.” He responded with a soft smile and a wave of his hand.

16. Singing along with the radio while they do house work.

🌹- With nothing else to do while on break from school, Isamu decided to clean the family home. He wanted to give his mother a break so she didn’t have to do it when she got home from work.

As he cleaned, he couldn’t help but sing along to songs coming through the radio. Especially ones that featured his parents. He was so caught up in cleaning the kitchen and singing along to the music that he didn’t even notice his mother walk into the area. It wasn’t until he caught the sound of her voice that made him realize.

“Oh, welcome home mother.” He responded followed by a nervous laugh.

🌹- Isamu walked over and knelt down in front of her. He couldn’t quite understand how laying on the laundry room floor of all places felt comfortable to her at the moment. Especially considering she wasn’t feeling well either.

“Mother... Wouldn’t it be better if you laid down in bed for a while? Laying down on the floor can’t be good for whatever is making you not feel well...”
