One of my Katsucon purchases.This is Yume Lacquer Paenitet from their Madoka Magica-inspired collection. I layered it over a different purple because it’s a glitter topper, but you might be able to get it opaque on its own.
I did a thing…I mean, what better Halloween nails than the creepy murderclown? The dots on my index, middle, and pinkie fingers have a little more contrast IRL but it is subtle. I had to redraw the Capricorn symbol like twice.
polishes used: NailTek I maintenance plus, Wet ‘n’ Wild Ebony Hates Chris, Color Club white striping polish, Sinful Colors Let’s Talk, Essie Cashmere Bathrobe, Seche Vite topcoat
Naturally, the first Homestuck nail art I do isn't even my favorite character.
Zoya Bevin is one of the only pastels that I like the look of on myself.
Interlocking dots with two of the polishes from Orly's Baked summer collection - Hot Tropics and Ablaze.
I played with textures this year for Independence Day. Polishes used are Milani White On The Spot, Zoya Liberty, and Julie G Hot Cinnamon. I only used top coat on the base white layer, so the dots all retain their texture.
Hi, new followers! Here are some dots. Winter is really rough on my cuticles :C I basically bathe in hand cream and cuticle balm. Polishes used: Zoya Jacqueline, Wet 'n' Wild FuchsiaRama, Zoya Natty, Julep Catrina. I used Poshe topcoat, which I have stopped using for nail art because as you can see, I got streaking with it even after letting the dots dry for a few minutes.

My birthday nails! Not my best work but not bad.
My current Christmas nails. It was hard to get a picture of these, the gold is so metallic. So, since it's hard to see, the ring finger (and the thumb) are gold with sprigs of holly.

Well, after a long period of being frustratingly uninspired, I decided to do some Christmas nails this past weekend. I actually like these quite a lot, since I don't like red very much.
Base green is Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear in Going Green, which was 75% off at my CVS last week! (plus BOGO 50% off, so I got it and a nice orange for 89 CENTS each!)
Red is Wet 'n' Wild in Red Red, I used tape for that.
Silver is Twinkle from Delia*s, I freehanded that with a long thin brush.
The nails without the design have one coat of Sally Hansen Diamond Strength in Diamonds over them, just for a bit of sparkle.
My nails this week: teal with nude half moons. I sort of love this and don't ever want to take it off....

Can I just say how much I LOVE THIS TEAL? Perfect. And this is actually the first nude polish I've gotten, I don't normally like them much.
Design 6 - newsprint nails.
Base color is Sally Hansen Diamond Strength in Champagne Toast. Very, very tame for me, but I don't have too many light colors. I think I'll actually be giving this polish to my mom, since she thinks she's "too old" to wear anything besides very tame pinks.
I totally forgot to post these before! I did these like a week and a half ago. I couldn't decide what polish to use, so I decided to use them all.
Base is Twinkle by Delia*s. Dots are all Sally Hansen HD polishes, in Spectrum, DVD, and Byte.
Haven't done anything exciting in a while, but here - Orly's Rock-it, which is my new second-favorite polish, and lightning bolts in Milani Gold Glitz.
The picture does not do Rock-it justice - it's this gorgeous pink, only looks red in bad light. I loooove it.
I've been really indecisive with my nails this week. I did these like Wednesday (about to take it off too). Not much to say about these, besides the fact that holy CRAP this was awkward to get a picture of! They did get a lot of complements though. And people asking if they're my real nails (yes, they are!)

My nails this week. Both of these are new polishes, so I wanted to try them!
I found the new flaky at the strangest place. It's from Whole Foods! Most of the polishes they had in their cosmetic aisle were pretty plain, standard fare.
But then I found THIS. The color is Ocean Stars, and the brand is Karma Hues. It's so pretty! The flakes show up best in indirect lighting. They're green, gold, and blue, and I love them!
The base color is Maybelline Express Finish in Cool Couture. It's really pretty, gunmetal with a subtle blue shimmer that flashes purple in certain lighting.
