Coffee: My character will be hyped up on coffee and pester yours.
“Hey, Quax, doll, what’s up?” Tugger leapt down from the fence top he had been pacing. It had been a long, wild night of rehearsing his number for the upcoming Ball, and he was still riding on the adrenaline of the screaming kitten onlookers. One kitten, however, had been missing.
“Didn’t see ya at the show, babe,” he quipped, “You busy with those tricks again? Hey, here’s something for ya. What card am I thinking of?” He placed a paw against his mouth and smirked, as if he’d just cracked a legendary joke.
Quaxo rolled his eyes at Tugger, unamused by his behavior. “The king of hearts.” He answered dryly as he turned away from the Main coon. “And please refrain from referring to me in those ridiculously degrading names. I am not one of your kittens who you can swoon. I am not even a kitten anymore. We are both well aware that I am older then Pouncival even.” Technically he was only a couple years older then him but Quaxo treasured that gap because he felt like it made him far more mature then most of the kittens. Even though he considered them all friends, there were only a couple who were on his level. Victoria was one and Jemima was another although they both loved to fawn over the annoying tom before him once in a while. @aterriblebore
“Aw, Pounce schmounce, lighten up kid!” Tugger said, undeterred by the unenthusiastic reply. He sauntered round to face Quaxo again. “And I wouldn’t say I’m the king of hearts, but I’m flattered, babe. Really.” He grinned lazily. Quaxo, he thought idly, never failed to entertain.
Quaxo sighed annoyed, he disliked it when anyone suggested he was too up tight. He didn’t see himself as such but able to have fun with his dancing and singing. “I did not mean it to be flattery, Tugger. I only thought it because you think so highly of your self.” He said shaking his head. “So why are you so animated tonight? This even seems a bit much for you. Did Mungojerrie steal a large amount of catnip and share it to the elder Toms again? The last time was so disastrous.”
Tugger mimicked the sigh sarcastically and chuckled. If Quaxo knew a thing about catnip, it was news to him. “Ohh, Quax. Quax, Quax, Quax. What am I meant to do with you, kid? It’s called excitement. Having fun! You should look it up,” he nodded upwards to the moon, “It’s almost the Ball, after all. You gonna pull a smile outta that hat of yours this year?”
Quaxo scoffed at Tugger. He was unbearably annoying to him sometimes. "I am perfectly capable of enjoying myself, especially at the Ball through my dancing but I choose to do it in a respectable manner. If you must know I have already been planning out a new routine for Victoria and I that is far more impressive then our last dance at the Jellicle Ball's opening ceremony."
