the older i get the more itās clear that being smart doesnāt get you very far if youāre not disciplined. there are tons of people who are brilliant but not disciplined. they have amazing ideas but cannot finish a project. they are creative and innovative but cannot execute a plan. i see how important it is to set deadlines and boundaries for myself an to be disciplined.
this dunyÄ really aināt it man, it aināt.
Deep are the wounds of a Muslim who repented from a bad past, because the memories always haunt you like a ghost. Nonetheless, keep going, Allahās all forgiving, youāre strong and youāre not where you used to be, youāre better and you will get better, keep striving no matter how many times you fall down.
I wish my mother could live her life all over again. But instead of it being filled with all of the hurt and sadness she has felt, I wish she could live the life she has given me; one filled with unending happiness and love. May God bless her always and may I make her the proudest mother in the world. I may say I live for myself but I truly live and push forward for her.
to be single and muslim
i havenāt been on here in so long
this might be weird but iām ready to meet someoneĀ
this whole, waiting for someone to appear in my life isnāt going to happen on its own.Ā
i always thought i needed to be at a better place in my life, i thought i needed to be at a certain level spiritually, mentally, and physically ---Ā
my biggest insecurity has been losing my hair, suffering from alopecia and being a hijabi is awkward bc people assume i have all this luscious hair under my hijab but its not the case. this has always made me think that no one willĀ āwant meā or want to beĀ āwith meā but Iāve realized who cares. if Allah swt sends a man into my life, it will be one who loves me without hair, even if I donāt love that fact myselfĀ
idk
im not tryna date
i donātĀ ātalkā to guysĀ
just not ever a position i put myself in
but i graduated, turning 24, and im ready?Ā
lol realizing this is huge for me
being a young single muslim girl/guy is hard but realizing you donāt want to be single is harder
Allah knows best.Ā
i want a relationship where people know of us but nothing about us
Saudi Arabia, Dammam
why does it feel like Iām in a race with every 18-25 yr old on earth and Iām losing
āi once asked my father who was his favourite. me or my brothers ābaba, who do you love more?ā i remember, baba smiled and told me āi love my kids all the sameā so i smiled back, right into his tired brown eyes but baba carried on āi know you will never leave me aloneā baba said. he read on my face that his words confused me. so baba kept going āi know when i am old, it is my daughter who will put the food into my mouth. i know it is my daughter who will bring me a glass of water on hot days. i know it is my daughter who will take my hand and listen to me rambling like old people often do. i know my daughter will have a husband and kids. but i know sheāll never forget her old fatherā baba said. ābecause daughters are grateful, daughters are soft and caring, daughters remember and daughters give back.āā

Assalamu Alikum girl. I needed some advice. I have fallen really low in my iman and I have been like this for a long time. I miss feeling that sweetness of iman. Please do you have any tips t o get back on track. Because whenever I try to I just don't feel that same feeling anymore like when reading quran etc. Please help. Ramadan is coming up and I wanna be prepared. I pray all my 5 prayers and still wear hijab but that's about it. Even with that I don't feel that longing for prayer anymore
Wa āalaykum assalam wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh!
I found whenever i pray extra prayers, especially tahajjud, my imaan goes up.
when you read the Quran, instead of simply reading: read an ayah, read/watch/listen to a tafsir for it, ponder upon the ayah and then move on to the next ayah.
Make dua! A good dua for you is:Allahumma zidnaĀ āeemanan wa yaqeenan wa fiqha(Oh Allah, increase me in imaan, in certainty, and in understandingAnd recite duas for actions such as before going to the toilet, before sleeping, etc.
remember Allahās mercy and blessings upon you, they are countless!
Re-evaluate your priorities, how much time are you spending with Allah subhana wa taāala?
Remember death often, where are you heading? What if you die this second? Will you be pleased by how you stand in front of Allah subhana wa taāala?
Do voluntary fasts, this will surely help increase imaan.
Go for a cupping session - this helps get rid of the effects of shayateen upon you, any evil eye, any witchcraft, and is a cure for diseases. Whatās there to lose (other than blood)? š¤
Ponder upon what is around you: the sky and what is in it, plants, flowers, the air your breathing, the food youāre eating - everything goes back to Allah subhana wa taāala.
Ponder upon Allahās names and attributes
Read/listen to/watch the stories of the prophets and sahabas - youāll get so much inspiration from it. I highly reccommend the book Stories of the Prophets by Ibn Khatir
Engage in Istighfar
Give charity
Keep in good company - this is so so important, stay with righteous people and their influence will surely come upon you!
Dhikr, make Allah happy!
Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:The Messenger of Allah (ļ·ŗ) said,āThere are two statements that are light for the tongue to remember, heavy in the Scales and are dear to the Merciful: āSubhan-Allahi wa bihamdihi, Subhan-Allahil-Azim [Glory be to Allah and His is the praise, (and) Allah, the Greatest is free from imperfection]ā.āĀ Ų³ŲØŲŲ§Ł Ų§ŁŁŁ ŁŲØŲŁ ŲÆŁŲ Ų³ŲØŲŲ§Ł Ų§ŁŁŁ Ų§ŁŲ¹ŲøŁŁ ā[Al-Bukhari and Muslim].

Implement some of these as doing all of them would be hard upon you, in sha Allah you will see a difference! Keep up the duas! May Allah increase you and imaan and allow you to tastes its sweetness, may He make you among the righteous, ameen.
What is yours will find you.
