Finally got a piccolo. :)

I love the way metal piccolos look but their tones are just not the best. I really want a wooden one, but I can’t march with it and the vast majority of my gigs on piccolo are marching

I miss playing bass clarinet in high school marching band. I got to play whatever I wanted because nobody could hear me. But in professional marching bands I actually have to play bass clarinet/tenor parts. :(
