Dance moms used to make me so happy. I used to re-watch it when I was sad and it would make me feel so much better but now whenever I re-watch it, I feel sad and it doesn't make me feel better. It just makes me sad that things will never be the same on dance moms like they were in the first, second, and even third seasons.

can we just take a moment of silence for everything brooke hyland.

she was literally so important to the team.

she was the first to have a song (and really the only one that initiated it herself)

she was the favorite without handouts like her parents saving the studio or a tv show trying to make her the favorite…

as the oldest, she was like the mom of the group. everyone looked up to her (maddie in her dancing, kenzie in her singing, paige as a sister, chloe as her best friend’s older sister and a close friend as well, etc.)

she was an AMAZING dancer.

she worked sooo well with guys and lifts and such

she didn’t give a shit what abby said

she sacrificed being a normal teenager and being with the senior group to dance with the girls and be on dance moms, which she ended up leaving the studio and dance for. so all she worked for in dance that caused her to miss all of the other opportunities as a teenager is now not used.
