Willow shook her head at her mother’s question, a shiver going down her spine at the thought of it. “No, they have not hurt me. They have me serving their King, I suppose they take better care of some servants compared to others.” She said, hand hovering over her mother’s bruised eye. “Do not lie to me, Mother. I know this is not nothing. You are a Queen, you should not be treated this way.” She shook her head, anger building inside her at the thought of what was happening in their world. “We must find a way to stop this.” She said, gripping tightly on her mother’s arms. “I do not wish to live like this anymore.”
Isolde breathed a sigh of relief, though if any of the barbarians had hurt Willow she would have run through the castle and punched them herself. “Am I?” a bitter chuckle fell from her lips “I no longer feel like one.. Besides none of the barbarians know that I am the Queen because I was too afraid to tell them, which I realise now was foolish.” Isolde nodded her head “Neither do I, but I’m not sure it can be done, we could try and escape somehow but I don’t know we would get away without being seen there is too many of them.”
