Karen Page x Frank Castle - The Punisher/ Daredevil I finally finished this kastle artwork! And damn, it was not easy. But I’m really happy with how it turned out, mostly because I feel like I managed to capture what these characters are supposed to be going through. Karen and Frank’s relationship is anything but simple. They’re more than friends, and the tension between them is definitely there, but they’re not lovers either (tragically. Deeply tragically). But honestly, that’s part of what makes them so compelling. The way The Punisher always softens around Karen. The way Karen supports Frank... there’s something so warm and deeply human about it that no romance movie has ever really managed to capture for me. And especially not Karen and Matt’s (Daredavil) relationship. Sorry, but to me there’s never been anything there beyond friendship / something almost sibling-like.

Also how do we feel about martial arts Karen? On the one hand I love a woman who can beat the shit out of people but on the other hand I thought we'd established her as a gun girlie, like it was one of her punisher parallels.
