In case y’all had a bad/hard/stressful day, I found this somewhat weird but very funny and cute video the other day, and I had the urge to share it with you^^ It’s the same Youtuber that created the heartwarming video of Trevor befriending a cow, and I loved this as well, it has hilarious moments that made me laugh a lot 😂 . I got some criticism for that GTA post I made because I didn’t count Red Dead Redemption 2. The point of the post was that GTA Online has made Rockstar so much money without having to put in any work that they stopped making games, especially ones from their flagship series. Here is a timeline of Rockstar releases to show you what I mean:

Ok but if they don’t add onto the story mode with the “expanded and enhanced” ps5 version then what’s the point

You know what I thought about it and I take it back. Seven god damn years later and not a single storymode DLC. If they throw in new story mode content exclusive for the PS5? I’m out I cannot

Honestly, this. They had so much potential to do at least something more with a story DLC. But, unfortunately, Rockstar saw the huge influx of players on Online and used that for some big $$$.

I mean, sadly, I get it.

They saw a begging opportunity to make TONS of money with Online, why wouldn’t they take it. Do I agree with it? No lol. Because at the same time, there’s fans (like all of us) that absolutley love story mode and stay quite dedicated to it. I feel like we got really cheated out on our end.

PREACH. With the overall negative feedback they’ve been getting with this they really have to give us something entirely fresh for something that’s lived it’s lifetime (though those complaints aren’t really centered around story mode being unrecognized for 4 separate releases). I can’t imagine how GTA 6 would be if they’re still solely catering to online players. Sounds doomed from the start, if they ignored their roots in favor of a quick cash grab. A story DLC would be perfect but still a cheap move if that’s what they consider “enhancing” a game from 2013 that was meant to get that dlc the same year. Honestly though buying a 800 dollar console and buying a rerelease just to play and get the content we asked for all these years is just a slap in the face. I sadly doubt they’d even do something with story mode but if they do it just feels too late.

Honestly my highest hopes is if they do something with the story LIKE dlc it’d branch over to it’s previous ports. At least to ps4/xbox1/pc. I’ve heard rumors of them having really ambitious ideas for the scrapped dlc like literally going to liberty city and having a zombie apocalypse dlc where San Andreas whole map changes and honestly if they do that for the next gen port I wouldn’t be so mad if it was just exclusive content. I guess we just have to wait till 2021 but so far I’m in the same boat of not really being interested. Right now my expectations are still pretty low.

At least online people will be satisfied. Some good things for fans unlike the ones who are still waiting for 5s story dlc, a GTA 4 port for current gen consoles, or are waiting for GTA 6 patiently. Too bad online players are getting sucked out of their money if they want to get the next gen installment, you know, if they don’t have a ps5 for the first three months.

Yeah I'm hesitant for future single player GTA games with how things have been in the past few years. Rockstar (and other companies at this point) have flocked to online vs single player because $$$. 

That’s 100% a slap in the face if they finally release single player DLC and make it a PS5 exclusive. I’m personally not paying a $500 console for it. (assuming it will be at least $500, what is the price sony?? TELL ME!) 

Other than 5′s story mode DLC: I’d do ANYTHING for a Vice City, San Andreas and/or GTA 4 remaster. Say, modern day mechanics. Like if they remastered those games with GTA 5′s engine? I’d be sold. 

But nah, *pulls on Bethesda mask* here’s a 7 year old game x4 (if you include the pc version)
