“I suppose my sense of humour is a bit strange,“ "I laugh at things that the others don’t find at all funny. All sorts of thing make me laugh – I love practical jokes for instance, and I like following people round and catching them unawares with a camera!” - John Deacon(John’s Royal Family :“ Jackie ” Apr. 10 1976 )(x)
Such an angel 🥺
Bam! It's Deacon! ✨✨✨✨
How can he be so gorgeous?
That era of Queen, that Deacon is ✨✨✨

Good news, Queen fans! As @goodold-fashionedloverblog pointed out on their blog, Shinko Music (publishers of Music Life, THE magazine that blessed us with multiple Queen in Japan covers and interviews) are releasing a book about Queen, entitled ‘Dearest’ and it’s coming out on Bohemian Rhapsody’s 50th anniversary – October 31. There will be unreleased shots in it (cue Roger’s voice) which I’m really excited about!
Not only are we getting a new book, but Shinko Music also have what they call a ‘Special Package with Benefits’ on their store, only available to purchase on there and at event sales (not on Amazon & co). It seems to be a replica of a letter with the band’s signatures and an acrylic stand for the book.
And there’s a sample of the pictures inside the book:

God bless Japan ❤️

3/4 of Queen in 1974, or as I like to call it, the “Bold Of You to Assume John Would Stop Snacking While These Pictures Happened”photo shoot
Sometimes would be nice to address the fact that Roger is not just a pretty face, but a smart, witty, brilliant man who has achieved a lot in his life and whose entire solo career was dedicated to write what Queen didn’t want to write into their songs.
