I just watched a short film about pedophilia. WATCH. IT.

Allow me to go through all the reasons why you should

- It portrays pedophiles as many of them are. Psychotic rapists, and likely murderers. I have had many conversations with my friend who worked at a sheriff’s office. Through the officers she knew, she had access to REAL AUTHENTIC information on what was going on. In the short time she worked there, there were an uncountable number of murdered, raped, tortured, and kidnapped children used for those purposes. This film shows that those things do happen, and they are wrong and disgusting in so many ways.

- Bryan Dechart plays the pedophile, Jack, in the film. If you aren’t familiar with his work, he is a FANTASTIC actor. The way he portrays the character is impressive. I watched the film twenty minutes ago, and I STILL feel sick. He was able to properly play this character, while anyone else would have dumbed it down too much. So the main character is PERFECTLY PLAYED.

- The film is just long enough to keep you engaged, get the message across, and cause you to react physically. I genuinely think I still may get sick. The true plot is slowly revealed, which means it just gets more sickening as it goes on. Basically, the timing of everything is perfect. Which makes the whole thing better and even more worth it.

Those are three out of all the ones I could possibly give. It is important that you watch this, not only because someone on the internet said so or because your favorite actor is in it. Because more people need to take this seriously and understand that the word “pedophile” means a lot more and a lot worse than what they think it does.

Fanfic site for antis

Tbh I’ve been thinking more and more about making my own fanfic hosting site. Since the AO3 mods have proven that they don’t care about preventing proven sexual abusers from hiding on the site, I figure that’s the best option. That just gives me another incentive to learn coding. I would def make sure that rules to stop sexual abusers from sneaking and making accounts on such a site would be enforced. Now I would just need to learn code as well as how to do site layouts and think of a site name. Would other any other antis be interested in joining a site like this when I’m able to make it? I wouldn’t demand personal credit card info from anyone or demand donations. It’d be an entirely indie fanfic archive site in the sense that I don’t plan on letting it be taken over by corporations. Not if I can help it. Also I would make sure that people tag their fics probably cuz I hate how that is neglected on AO3 so often.
