Edit: People, I’m an English and creative writing double major in college; I understand that there’s nothing wrong with simply using “said.” This was just for fun, and it comes in handy when I need to add pizzazz.

In addition to a little pizzazz in the dialogue tags, these are also super useful as part of the narration, or summing up/paraphrasing something that has been said, or even in a character’s dialogue as they describe how someone was talking!

Something I find really interesting in OMORI is the stylistic choice of Kel's emotions. More specifically his ENRAGED emotion in Headspace. Because compared to the other party members, minus Omori/Sunny of course.

His is the only one with whitened eyes. Same thing when everyone is AFRAID! Aubrey and Hero have their eyes closed, but Kel, his eyes are open. And what makes this even more interesting is when you compare HS Kel's AFRAID, ANGRY and ENRAGED emotion to RW Kel's.

For the ANGRY emotion, both are basically the same.

But for the ENRAGED emotion, there is a very noticeable difference. To me, it's almost like HS Kel's is meant to be FURIOUS instead of ENRAGED.

And for AFRAID, this one is also really interesting to me, RW Kel has the same sprite as his defeated. While everyone else shows noticeable fear, RW Kel seems like he's trying to distract himself or not be afraid.

And while I'm not sure what any of this means, I still think it's important to point out because OMORI is a very well made game, and every little thing can mean so much in the bigger picture. So the fact that these artistic choices were chosen for Kel's emotions is very, very interesting to me.

I keep reading so many Peter Parker in Gotham AU fanfics, and I got the worst idea ever

As most start outs go in these fics, Post SM:NWH Peter ends up in DC universe Gotham

Only difference? The Joker in this DC universe is actually an alternate version of Norman Osborn.

I know this sounds so dumb but like,,, imagine it. May died trying to help Norman, and Peter nearly threw away his morals to avenge her death by killing Norman himself. Now he's faced with another version of Osborn who is so much more fucked up, who's been through so much shit, and all Peter can see past that shitty clown make-up is the poor man who needed help who his aunt died trying to help. The man who went to FEAST knowing Peter could help. The man who one second was scared of everything including himself, and the next was laughing uncontrollably, even through the punches Peter pounded into him.

What if Peter decides Mays death won't be in vain. That even if this isn't the same Norman Osborn, he's going to help him and he won't die trying like May. He's going to avenge her death the right way.

Then cue the Bats freaking the FUCK out because???? As much as they beat the shit out of him, Bruce had spent years trying to help him, then this homeless and totally adoptable kid shows up out of nowhere and is breaking past the Joker and to the real man trapped behind it all?????

Happy 10 Year Anniversary @transcendence-au ! It is with great pleasure that I present the culmination of about 2 months worth of work with this lil comic o mine ^-^

I still can't believe the Transcendence AU is Ten years old, or that I've been a part of this wonderful community for eight of those years!

Some quick shout outs, while I had this idea before this was shared This post on the blog did influence the direction I went at the end, I just love the idea on Alcor and the Axolotl interacting, especially during the God-cor story arc (speaking of I place this comic as being near the beginning of this phase of his life).

I also heavily worked off of Dipper and Mabel and the Cure of the Time Pirates Treasure (A Select Your Own Choose-venture) as I felt that was a good starting point for these two getting to know each other (Also disclaimer I did initially trace the image of the shack before breaking it apart, feel like I should mention that).

Something I find interesting about Kinger & Queenie is that they're different colored chess pieces. Because hear me out, when it comes to chess, you will have the same exact pieces on either side, just with different colors to signify that they are on opposite sides.

Maybe it's just to signify that Kinger isn't abstracted while Queenie is, but who knows, it might mean something deeper further in the series. Just thought it was interesting to point out even though it might not mean anything.

How an earth did the government make an exact replica of Will’s body in season 1? All the way down to a birthmark on his arm. Not to mention imagine if it was on his wrist. But I digress. It makes sense if he had check ups for things before for them to know how to replicate his entire body. But this wouldn’t be a normal doctor checkup. It’d be government officials involved. Perhaps that’s where he saw Brenner. I just don’t understand how they can replicate his whole body. Joyce also said to Brenner what did you do to my boy, where is he etc. Something seems iffy to me.
