Welcome to Queer Cookie Run, a blog put together to make pride icons and edits, currently run by Mod Moonlight!

Under the cut will be a list of what we are willing to make; please make sure to give the rules a look before requesting!

Icons! All will be 200x200, and can be either square or circle (square is the default when not specified).

These icons can have the cookie either full body or just their head (fullbody is default when not specified), with the background being the flag. They can also have one of the sprite edits.

Sprite edits can be:

Cookie(s) with their entire sprite edited to fit the colors of the flag of your choice.

Cookie(s) with ONLY their clothes edited to fit the colors of the flag of your choice.

They will default to only be the sprite, so if you want it to be a part of an icon, please specify!

If you want a specific costume included/only the specific costume, please specify!

This list may be expanded in the future, so keep an eye out for any announcements regarding that!

Mod Intro: Moonlight

Hello hello! I'm Moonlight, a 25 year old queer creator who uses they, she, and he pronouns interchangeably. I'm kin with Moonlight (among other cookies), hence my choice in mod name ☆

I also am a system! Members most likely will not be posting on here, I will provide a list of their cookie monikers in case they do!

RULES

1. This blog is inclusive of all LGBT+/MOGAI/ Queer identities. This includes aspecs, bi/pan lesbians/gays, etc etc. The only exclusion are ones that are very clearly meant to be troll requests/meant to be harmful (ex. being things such as super straight and rabiosexual. The rabies joke isn't funny for us.) We also will not be tagging queer as a slur.

2. Requests are allowed to go against canon. Fanon does not erase canon, and there are many reasons why someone may have a headcanon that conflicts with canon. The way isn't anyone's business.

3. If you would like a specific flag used (whether it is an alternate of a common flag, an aestheticized version of a flag, etc) please tell where it can come from in your request. Please refer to the list below of accounts whose flags will not be used on this blog.

4. Autism requests are taken as long as a identity request is also included (ex: an autistic genderqueer cookie), and the infinity symbol is used. The same applies to kin requests, using the kin symbol.

5. This blog will not partake in discourse.

Members are not all knowing about flag discourse, and will usually default to using the most well known flags; this does not reflect their views.

Moonlight takes a profiction stance (proshipper for those who don't know all the nuances). This will not be changed.

If we use your flag and are uncomfortable with the usage, please let us know so that we can add you to the list to prevent accidental use in the future.

If you have a genuine problem, please either approach us privately about it, or feel free to block us. Hateful asks and comments will be deleted and those responsible blocked. We aren't perfect, but rude and hateful reactions will not help us learn.

6. Please be patient. At this point in time, only one mod is active, and the truth of the matter is that this blog is here for fun. Mental and physical health alongside irl responsibilities will take precedent over this blog.

Hey, young lesbians? You’re not predatory for being attracted to other women.  You are allowed to feel attraction.  You’re allowed to pursue relationships the way anyone else is.  You deserve affection and friendship with other girls and women.  Anyone who says otherwise is lying.

Hey, lesbians who have had relationships with men for whatever reason? You’re valid.  Whether you thought you were bisexual or straight, or you felt pressured into it, or hadn’t realized you were a lesbian yet, your identity as a lesbian is not even REMOTELY invalidated by your history.  You’re a lesbian, and you’re valid. Anyone who says otherwise is lying.

Hey, lesbians?  We are awesome and valid, and nothing about us is invalidated or ruined or diluted by recognizing and celebrating our history and close kinship the bisexual community.  Bi girls are our allies and we are stronger together. Anyone who says otherwise is lying.

And real quick, hey bi girls who thought you were lesbians in the past?  You didn’t trick us.  You weren’t lying.  You thought you knew something about yourself and you later found more nuance to it than you realized had been there.  You didn’t do anything wrong, and I’m so glad you’ve found a more comfortable and accurate understanding of yourself. Anyone who says otherwise is absolutely lying.
