So. Hello. I know it’s been like — if my math is correct — WAYYY too long since I was nominated[?] for this “Sharing is caring” themed WIP Wednesday, so ummm.. sorry? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Anyways, I realized after getting tagged that I really haven’t worked on my fic in WEEKS (yikes) so I kinda wrote a whole new chapter in a day (ty @coffeeandbowtieswrites 🙏) So here’s the snippet lol

Will smiled. Benji couldn’t see it, but he could tell. Will was laying there staring at the ceiling, or down at him, or into the eyes of some post-nut paralysis demon, and curling the corners of his lips up ever so slightly.

The kind of slightly that somehow crushed the hope it simultaneously managed to create. Hope that maybe…

Maybe this was something more.

And that wasn’t helped by the kisses Will was fondly planting into Benji’s forehead, as he gradually increased from tracing circles on his shoulder, to running his fingertips up and down his arm. His other hand began to pinch and gently pull at his hair.

“You’re beautiful Benjamin,” he mumbled

My favorite headcanon that I have for Benji/Brandt is that Will gets SERIOUS cuteness aggression, and when Benji falls asleep on his chest/shoulder/lap, he can barely resist the urge to start attacking him with kisses.

Like I can’t stop imagining them falling asleep together, and Benji starts snoring against Will’s chest and he’s just ITCHING to smother him with kisses, but he doesn’t wanna wake him up, so he just has to awkwardly press soft pecks into his forehead and hope that’s enough to satisfy it. (It isn’t).

It’s SO bad. My love for this ship is SOOO bad. Like, I NEED to see them do all the cheesy romance stuff— I’m ACTUALLY tearing up over it. I’m just so absorbed in other projects that my fanfics have been pushed to the side and so I can’t write stupid fluff right now and it’s KILLING ME. 😭😭😭

Cis people really are clueless to how things really are for trans people, aren't they?

My parents partook in a ground search for a missing trans man today (I'm planning on joining the next. I just couldn't get the time off work on such short notice on a Friday) They told me that they were shocked that the cops really didn't care. They left the crime scene completely open for 3 days, haven't followed up on any leads, basically just took statements and left. The neighbors have footage of someone entering and leaving the house days after with a huge black garbage bag and throwing it into a trunk of a car.

They're shocked that the cops don't give a shit. I regretfully had to inform them that this is the case for literally any missing queer person, or marginalized person in general.

Like yeah, cops don't give a shit about us. Sorry to break it to you.

Birthday Post!! (Except it's probably not my birthday when you're reading this)

So it's my birthday.. for like one more hour, and so why not post a sneak peak from a birthday chapter in my Benji/Brandt fic?

Y'know.. to celebrate. Definitely not because I'm bored and want to talk about it with someone. Mhmm yep. Not at all.

Benji turned around. “What?” Will ignored his question, choosing instead to give him a once-over. “Look at you: so handsome,” he mumbled, kissing Benji’s cheek. “Will, what’s going on?” “I think Benji deserves a treat for his birthday, don’t you?” Will said, still mumbling, stepping closer so that their legs were interlocked. Something stiff dug its way into Benji’s hip and he let out a nervous laugh. “What kind of treat?”

I want to refrain as much as possible from talking about this fic because I fear that, like what happened with my last one, I will get too confident and end up with a smoothie of blended shit that I inevitably lose motivation for. So keeping it as a sacred passion project is my safest bet for preserving its quality, especially as I navigate the tricky world of trying to perfect their voices.

That being said, I really want people to know it exists, because I have not loved something of mine this much in such a long time. Safe to say, it's in a very healthy state right now. It has been a little over three months since I started work on this project, and there are a shocking SIXTEEN chapters (only four finished) sitting in this google doc. Totaling to just under 22k words the last time I calculated.

Bear in mind, I have ideas for more.

So, yeah. I'm really excited because I've felt kinda depressed these past few months, and seeing myself this passionate means I'm getting out of that. So I really hope that when this is complete and uploaded, people will love it as much as I do.

One of these days I’m gonna wake up to an email from ao3 saying “College Board regrets to inform you that your essay has been rejected from the AP English Exam due to your thesis not aligning with the essay prompt. It wasn’t his fault he craved physical affection after sex. Not at all.
