What a better way to begin your blog than showing off your first game ever released?

Introducing Versus Time, a competitive turn-based multiplayer roguelike. You can play it HERE in your browser.

Imagine your average roguelike. Now add up to four players and  make them fight each other until only one remains. Top it with fast chess rules that give each player a 3-minute time limit that depletes during their turn until they take an action. Add a cherry on top by which casting the spells you gain from killing monsters consumes your time faster.

The game is a successful Seven Day Roguelike designed and coded by Yuji Kosugi, who is awesome. I contributed tweaking game balance and making the art assets. 

It's been an incredibly busy, intense, exhausting, exhilarating, focused, adrenaline-filled, happy, pizza-fuelled week, but we did it. Even with all the compromises we had to make and the itching of thinking we could do better, we made a fun game.
