I just found your blog, and I'm completely enamored with your speedpaint illustrations! I love the layered textures in your brushstrokes that give them such an organic look. Would you mind sharing some advice with an aspiring digital artist on how to achieve those beautiful textures? Do you have any tried and true brushes/brush sets you'd recommend?
Hi ! Thank you for your message :) That’s not easy to say, there is many ways to do textures ! The first thing i would say is to experiment a lot, know why you want to do a texture, what you want to represent and not just try to do a beautiful one. You can study some images in order to understand how texture works on them. The more you make tries, the more you learn, the more you can do quick nice textures !
