“You sure?” Because Star didn’t want to end up being the death of him. Maybe the dwindling power in the husk of a Fortress wasn’t doing much for him— being a guy that sustained himself was kind of odd for him to try and gauge. It couldn’t be healthy for him, that was for sure. It reminded him that he really needed to coax Gravity into moving. As soon as possible. Maybe he could coax Quick to go too. Decisions, decisions.

But for now, if he was sure, he slowly pat the other on the shoulder, nodding anyway and giving him room to meander into the hallway alongside him. “Of course, yeah. I mean, if you weren’t up in here, I was needing to go and meet Jewel for a bit. Double wedding that needs clothing plans and all. Not sure if you want to do that.” He laughed— he probably wouldn’t, but at least getting him some food may be good. Fresh air never hurt. “If not, bit of time out would be pretty fantastic.” Maker knows he would be chomping at the bit if he were stuck in a room sick, his restless legs would induce insanity!

He smiled brightly while nodding even though his body was a tad shaky. "I don't want to stay here. That's for certain." He smirked. "Besides- you're a cool dude. And at this point I don't give a DAMN what I do."He placed his hands on his hips gripping them gently to keep himself steady."shall we?"

Rise and shine

Quick’s eyes opened as they struggled to focus on his room. His circuits seemed to be out of wack. Everything was heavy to him. Especially his chest. ‘God damn- I feel so… weak.’

He sat up and stared at his wall. Quick realized that he was swaying a bit. What was wrong with him!?Oh man last thing he needed was his circuits shorting again due to overheating. Maybe that’s what it was.Quick stood from his bedside and began to walk slowly to his door and peered outside.

“Woah.” Fancy that! Maybe his persistent bout of knocking helped, but Star had just started to give up on trying to rouse the resting bot. For maybe the third time this month. He hadn’t heard from him, seen him around, pretty worrying for someone who had wanted to go out and do things weeks ago! Yet, the space-farer seemed pleased, on the opposite side of Quick’s glance, “Hey there, morning!” He’d almost wondered if Quick had moved out somewhere else. Somewhere not falling apart. Couldn’t blame him if he did.

He was en route to go pick up Jewel, but maybe now that Quick was up and about, he’d be alright to come along this time! But he didn’t look too well, here came the look of concern. “You feeling alright?”

Quick's eyes focused on Star's and then he smiled. Although, the smile was a tad weak. "I'm alright for the most part- I think i'm.. just a little under the weather. I should be fine with some walking."

He continued to smile through his speech, but, it was obvious he seemed very tired. His hand was gripping the doorway. "So- are we still on for this little trek of ours?" His smile brightened a tad as he finished those words. Despite feeling a little weak, he still wanted to go out. Star was super nice and super chill. Something he really needed. In simpler terms. STOP FUCKING SECLUDING YOURSELF QUICK.
