S01E06 -‘A Mercy’
“Don’t ever call me Francis again. You’ll call me what I’m due to be called.” “You stole 16 bottles of spirits from my ship. I don’t know what you’re due…
Bonus:
—Marina Tsvetaeva
“I will not have you speak uncharitably, James. He is my second. If something happened to me, you would be his second. You should cherish that man.”
Frank&Jim’s Big Antarctic Adventure (aka the Ross Expedition of 1839-43)
I wanna do a whole return to England comic but that’ll have to wait for “summer break”
Anyway, James drawing Francis’ portrait and he’s just happy to see Francis so at peace finally

portrait of two surgeons
don’t look at me i just have something in my eye
From May Fluhmann’s Second in Command, Crozier’s 1827 letter to James Clark Ross sure is a thing...
Another glorious day of me contributing fuck all to this fandom.
“Even the flag’s up. We needn’t have worried, Francis.”
One I so truly loved: Francis Crozier in the writings of James Clark Ross

anidala week 2018 - day four: anidala + the twins
modern!AU: both anakin and padmé would be lying if they said life was easy when he first came back from war. his ptsd was bad. she was a workaholic. most days it felt like their marriage was falling apart. but they didn’t give up. they went to therapy. they got better. they learned how to live together, after so much of their relationship taking place with anakin on tour. and then when the twins came everything, all the effort, the tears, the fighting, the healing, was more than worth it. their love for the twins eclipsed their love for each other (but just barely). and as the twins grew up and padmé’s career moved forward, anakin found more fulfilment being a stay at home father than he did in all his years in the military combined. he had been happy to serve but being a dad was so much better.
