Consciously Confronting Procrastination (1)

Under the hypothesis that procrastination is an emotion regulation problem (see here), I guess I feel hesitant—almost afraid. There’s quite a bit of stuff I should be doing and I want to do them well, so I feel intimidated... However, rationally, completing something imperfectly is better than doing nothing.

And surprisingly, it seems to help when I tell myself that it doesn’t have to be perfect and that I only need to focus on this one thing right now.
