I suspect Jasper is more powerful than what he presented his self to be on Talamasca because…

whereas this vampire⬆️ was escorted shackle free by two random Talamasca agents and, forced to turn one person (Doris)…

Jasper was shackled in iron and (possibly) forced to turn multiple people at once.

I think we didn’t get to see the full extent of Jasper’s powers on Talamasca because…

I hope we get to see Jasper again on QOTD because I want to know who is Jasper’s maker and what is the true extent of Jasper’s powers.

Risky Business (Part 4 of 14)

Guy tries to lose himself at a festival. In many ways, he will.

at the age of ten, guy lost both his sight and his parents in a car accident. at first, he didn’t even understand it right away he was frightened, he screamed, he couldn’t accept what had happened. but with time, he got used to it. he became calmer and learned how to live all over again.

at twelve, he was taken in by a kind family. somewhere deep down, guy was grateful to them, but that was where it ended. they helped him, yet he couldn’t shake the feeling that they had regretted their decision after only six months. a conversation he overheard by accident only confirmed it.

at fourteen, guy began hearing other people’s thoughts. he was terrified. at first, he decided he was simply losing his mind, and when he realized he could see himself through the thoughts of other people, he ran away. he spent an entire day sitting in some alleyway, his eyes shut and his ears covered, praying that all of it had only been his imagination.

unfortunately for him, it wasn’t. guy had to learn how to live all over again.

by eighteen, guy had gotten used to it and had even started using it to his advantage. his parents’ help became less and less necessary; he could go to the store on his own, run errands, and sometimes even read something. thanks to this strange power that had suddenly appeared, he got a job.

at twenty-three, guy gets drunk alone in an empty apartment, unable to understand why his life turned out this way.

and at twenty-five, guy runs into jasper. literally crashes into him, surprised that he could have missed someone. strong hands keep him from falling, and when he starts apologizing, he sees him. not himself. he sees the man standing before him, studying him with curiosity.

guy feels his heart begin to race.

I can totally see Jasper developing a new obsession after he accidentally discovers Guy is ticklish 🤭 Jasper will find every opportunity afterwards to tickle Guy because he loves the sound of Guy’s laugh. Guy will pretend to be annoyed by all the tickling but will secretly love it 😌
