The Theory that if enough people believe in something it exists.

There is this theory that if enough people believe in something, it actually exists. Such as a very scary monster, or maybe the fact that we all believe in gravity is actually what keeps us on the ground.

It’s kind of expanding on the age old question of if a tree falls in a forest and nobody’s around, does anyone actually hear it? But think of that on a larger scale of if something exists without people to put meaning or think it exists does it exist at all??

Now how does this apply to a marvel fan page you might ask?? 

Well I’ll tell you, we fell in love with certain characters and certain mannerisms that came along with our MCU universe that we have been following for years. As children, watching the Iron Man movies, and even now watching Ant-man. I believe that so many people believed in certain versions of these characters like Tony Stark, Captain America, Black widow, that these characters became real. Maybe they exist in a realm where marvel people can reach into BUT SINCE THE RUSSO BROTHERS F*CKED our timeline and the versions we have created I feel like all those characters are standing around wondering what’s next? What’s their next move? What do they do now that those versions of them have been given up on?

AND IT SENDS ME INTO A PANIC. The only thing keeping those versions alive are our minds and fan fiction and I just really hope OG fans think about it as much as I think about it so those characters don’t turn to dust.
