Tumblr is causing the end of a world, and slowly, people are steadily despairing and getting more and more pissed off. Sooner or later, almost no one but the ones they cater to will be here anymore on Tumblr. They'll be forced or by their own will, go to better websites. Their trust will not be regained so easily.
