In a video, Matthew Leich, who plays Floyd Talbert, recalled the day that Dick Winters visited the Band of Brothers set.
He said there was a rumor going around that the real Winters would be visiting but there were no specifics. Next thing they knew, the tarp at the back of the truck where all the BoB Easy actors were crammed into, flew open. Dick Winters was on the other side and he paled, sheet white, before whispering something and immediately leaving, flying back to America.
When asked about it, Major Winters said, “It was like looking at a truck full of ghosts.”
Seeing them all side-by-side like this, I can’t imagine how overwhelming the initial sight of it must have been for him.

A PROLOGUE IN THE MAKING!
THE SOPHOMORE HALLWAY WAS FILLED WITH KIDS returning from summer break and entering Liberty High's newly painted halls of Hell. Wadded up paper balls are thrown in the air, the jocks in their lettermen jackets are giving out bro-hugs, the goths are redoing their eyeliners by using the screens of their phones, cheerleaders heading to their bathrooms to talk, and everyone else - yes, the loners, too - are heading to their newly assigned lockers for the year.
Struggling to pass through excited and annoying students, a girl hunched over with a guitar case hooked onto her bag with her backpack makes her way to the left side of the hall with eyes squinted a crumbled paper in her hands. On it was her class schedule.
"319." The girl mutters looking at the long rows of blue lockers on either side of the hall - that isn't blocked by chivalrous jocks in all their glory - and discovers the worse. "Oh fucking hell, I'm a bottom locker. Fuck." She groans realizing the odds were not in her favor this year.
Third to last locker at the bottom, she leans her bags against the wall and crouches down. 22-3-5 a combination of numbers she twists in to unlock the metal door. With a few tries she managed to get it opened, and found the emptiness soon covered with her decorations: magnetic pencil holder, a mirror, a few stickers which were prohibited from school grounds (the weed leaf, "good vibes only," etc.), and inside she hung a beaded dream catcher.
As she zipped her backpack and stuffed her books inside, she eyed her guitar case and pursed her lips. This is when a long locker would come in handy, but she guessed the music room would be her saving grace to protect her baby when she was in class.
"I'm, uh, I'm Hannah Baker." The brunette tucked her hair behind her ear with a shy smile, and her green eyes cried hopefulness.
Rubbing the sore part of her head, the unfortunate girl chuckles in disbelief.
" for some ungodly reason, you crawled into my nest crying, 'woe is Elena' until my ears bled. honestly, give it a rest, baby bat. "
