After going trough a surgery, chemo, and radiation that significantly shrunk the tumor in his brain, my step-dad started having bad headaches and seizures again a couple months ago. He went in for another MRI, a month earlier than scheduled, and we found out that the tumor was swelling again. Right now he is undergoing his second brain surgery in less than three years. My mom and little sister are with him at the hospital but I’m stuck here because I have to work this afternoon. I don’t know what belief system any of you have, but the only reason he’s going through surgery again is because the doctors said that another radiation treatment wouldn’t help at this point. I’m not a person of faith, none of us are. But things are getting bad again, and I’m even more scared now than I was the first time. If y’all could just pray or whatever it is you do for my step-dad and my family, I would greatly appreciate it.

I'm really, really sorry for the lack of posting recently. Danet's been busy with school and her Karl Urban blog, and I've just been going through some tough personal and family things. Hopefully soon I'll get myself together and start posting again. I'm super sorry.
