Have you ever had one of those days that NOTHING seems to go right?

You keep dropping things. You forgot to buy dog food the night before. The zipper on your perfect outfit breaks as you're getting dressed. Somehow your phone didn't charge all night while you were sleeping. You can't find your car keys. A few of your appointments cancel on you. And then, right as you're stepping out the door your tumbler lid pops off and you spill protein shake all down your outfit....

There are two ways the rest of this day can go... 1) you can let your morning defeat you and spiral into insanity and agitation. OR 2) you can take a step back. Breath. Laugh. And #ShakeItOff.

That was me this morning. I knew today was going to be a tough one. But champions don't let defeat consume them. They step up and power through the challenge. It's not about finishing perfect... it's about finishing STRONG.

Woke up with the biggest smile on my face because last night I made things right with a friend. I decided to let go of my pride and anger and hear someone out who had hurt me. It feels so good to have a friend back, I wish I'd done it sooner. So today I encourage you to let go. Holding on to anger is only punishing yourself and robbing you of your energy and joy. Open your mind to forgiveness whether they want it or not. Whether they're apologetic or not. Forgive them and love them. It’s crazy to think I used to drive this amazing girl to school in the mornings and then watch her to-be-husband on television in the afternoon.

Ad of the Day: Ballantine's Publishes a Magazine About Whisky Entirely on Instagram

Instagram publishing is all the rage. Earlier this week, we wrote about RPA's Jason Sperling releasing his new book on the photography app. And now, Ballantine's is publishing a new magazine about whisky exclusively on Instagram. The magazine, which Ballantine's is calling an "Insta-zine," is titled W.

Look closely, you are NOT in Instagram’s scroll view. You are looking at a magazine page that has been laid out using meticulous placement of each individual image in the Instagram profile’s Gallery view. The cover is a puzzle of images telling a story. 

As amazing as this app is... all I can think about is how grateful I am that I didn’t have to set it up. The creativity, strategy and detail that went into the development of this magazine is beyond impressive. 

When a viewer “Taps Here” it is the equivalent of selecting an individual Instagram photo to look at closely. Once you are examining the image individually, you will notice that someone - no, something- is tagged. 

These tags are not labeling people in the photo, they are linking to other puzzle-like Instagram profiles, or the “full article.” 

Even if you’re not interested in whiskey, the innovative structure of this magazine alone is enough to entertain you for the next 30 minutes.
