Saw Obsession today, here’s my thoughts:

Bear is a fucking sad, pathetic, disgusting, creep. His actions caused so much turmoil and he didn’t even give a fuck. He took no opportunity to change himself, and kept doubling-down on his behavior. He only cared about himself, not any of the people around him, and DEFINITELY not Nikki.

Got two of his friends killed, and STILL couldn’t own up to his own mistakes.

I’d say I want to strangle him, but he killed himself to escape any and all consequences. EVEN THEN HE TRIED TO UNDO HIS OVERDOSE LIKE A BITCH! God, I wish I could properly put how much I loathe him into words, but I don’t think I can.

The fact that he only wanted to alter the wish instead of cancel it is just plain gross. The fucker couldn’t even consider giving Nikki her life back, he only wanted all of the “inconveniences” to go away.

I am GLAD he got “wished” towards the end, because he should have to experience all he put Nikki through.

Excellent premise for a horror movie, though, 10/10

Like how Clark regarded the other two Still-Lives in the room normally, but when he got to the last one, he seemed... frustrated? How when he had Mary get "into character" he cut off it's hair and had Mary wear it? HOW IT TRIED TO RUN AWAY FROM PIRATE CLARK??

WARNING: MADMAN'S RAMBLINGS ON A MINECRAFT ARG VIDEO AHEAD.

Okay, so I have thoughts about the Minecraft ARG Video "Searching for a world that doesn't exist." by Wifies -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3V7Rvo4Gvic Watch it if you haven't already, it is SO GOOD. Spoilers ahead.

The protagonist is SO SMART what the HELL finally something interesting, a character that makes ALL THE RIGHT DECISIONS AND IS ACTUALLY SMART ABOUT HOW HE DEALS WITH UNKNOWN HORRORS AND STILL ENDS UP AT THE HORROR'S MERCY, not because they made dumb mistakes or panicked or worried about self-imposed rules (turning on peaceful mode to not starve to death, just breaking through the door with a pickaxe, etc.), but because the monster was smarter than them, it's just so refreshing.

No cheap jump-scares either!

There's the creepy whispering and torches going out, sure, but nothing "in-your-face-haha-gotcha" about it! Everything is so glaringly empty yet there's always the sense that there is something there, following!

Even at the end, when D3rlord3 (right? that's the spelling?) goes through the gates and SEES whatever monster is on the other side (King in Yellow, I know, I know.) It's not an immediate reaction to run away, he just... looks at it for a few seconds, then turns away and runs.

AND THE FACT THAT HE ENDED UP IN THE EXACT POINT HE STARTED- UGH, MINDFUCK! HOW?!

D3RLORD3'S MIND GOT SO UNRAVELED AT THE END, HE KNEW WHO WOULD FIND THIS WORLD NEXT, AND LEFT A WARNING!

GOD.

FUCKING.

DAMN.

Avery just speed running the first half of the adventure in creative mode was funny, and the singular gold block on the other end of the gate took me out lol. BUT THE TRANSITION TO BEING FORCEFULLY PUT INTO SURVIVAL MODE WAS INSANE! All those different worlds behind those gates, every one was stunning! And Avery's character, oh my gosh! You can see this guy struggling with all the complex nonsense of the world! He wants to be like d3rlord and be smart, but he can't, and he struggles with that, he gets frustrated, he brute-forces the annoying puzzles.

WHAT WAS WRITTEN IN THAT BOOK IN THE CHURCH?!?!

Avery went through TWELVE HOURS of a depressive cycle! d3rlord was genuinely disgusted by what he read! What the fuck was in that book?!

The King in Yellow's eyes in the darkness, oh my goodness.

AND THERE ARE STILL SO MANY QUESTIONS TO BE ANSWERED!

Why Avery? Who left those crafting tables? What was that random code in the library d3rlord found?

I have so many thoughts I cannot properly articulate.
