How were you introduced to The Amazing Digital Circus? And which is your favourite episode?
The first episode of it was recommended to me by YouTube a year after it first came out and I have been keeping up with it ever since. At first, I would just casually pop back in to see if there was a new episode, but after episode three I became hooked.
My favorite episode would be either four or six. As someone who adores Gangle I loved her focus in episode 4, but as a whole I do think episode 6 is very strong and has some of my favorite moments (Kinger and Ragathas talk in the looser corner (makes me cry everytime), Zooble and Gangles talk, Caine being fed tf up with everything).
One of my favorite jokes is actually from episode one tho! When Jax points to Kinger and Gangle as the two most mentally stable characters while Gangle is cowering and Kinger is vibrating like mad.
What about you? Now that you’ve watched everything what’s your favorite episode/character?
My favourite episode is a tie between 3 and 6. I adored the straight-up horror elements of the 3, as well as the dive into Kinger's character and his chemistry with Pomni. It was also the first episode to get me choked up (god I love that chess piece so much). It also has my favourite joke in the show! ("Please don't come alive..." "Okay, I won't")
But as you said, 6 had some really strong moments and humour as well (Lizzie Freeman and Michael Kovach deserve all the love for that last scene!).
And my other favourite character besides Kinger is Pomni. I love the growth she goes through, from a terrified wreck who just wants to save her own skin to a brave headstrong woman who's pretty much the leader of the group now. That big "the reason you suck" speech she gives Caine, coupled with her little eye twitch that's half "oh God he's gonna go apeshit on us but whatever buys Kinger more time", half "you've had this coming for a LONG time, asshole", was especially awesome!
3 is SUCH a good episode! I adore it. I’m a sucker for cheesy horror and sweet father figures.
The VA’s are so talented! All of them are absolutely fantastic, their range is amazing!
Honestly my favorite characters change with my mood- usually it’s either a tie between Kinger and Gangle, or between Ragatha and Caine. It truly just depends on what brain worms are screaming at me at any particular moment. Though- I honestly don’t dislike any of these characters.
Honestly- the way you described Pomni makes me like her more. I think I should pay more attention to her arc when I rewatch it today. So thanks for that!

My mom likes to tell me about how when I was a little kid riding public transport with her I'd always smile and giggle and chat with weird old ladies who smelled like cat pee and homeless folks and strangers dressed in bizarre outfits but any time a tidy and respectable businessman in a suit and tie waved at me I'd immediately clam up, and she takes a great deal of pride in my supposed inherentability to clock personalities but the truth is I do vaguely remember those bus rides, and it was never about the clothes or the hair or the smell, but more because everyone "strange" asked interesting questions and listened to what I had to say and seemed to think about what I said while the neat and tidy and rigid folks only ever acted like they were going through the motions, which was boring as hell and also pretty annoying
