Ask me my "TOP 5" anything!
"…I-i.."
"I was trying to make you laugh, didn't I succeeded?! Anyway, come and buy some of my cupcakes so I can go home."
Add me on aim, if you don't mind. chanyvl
"You called?"
"Ghostbusters."
"I'm going to meet Sehun for lunch, then we'll spend time together."
[ x ] "I'm going to meet Sehun for lunch, then we'll spend time together."
"Don't bother." Sehun this, Sehun that, Sehun everywhere whenever they're together. All right, so maybe that Sehun guy might have caught her attention before he could even ask for her name before but that doesn't mean she should go around and boast him all the time. Chanyeol rolls his eyes while muttering something incoherently through his plump pair of lips, his fingers slip through the fabric of his jeans' pockets and rests it there as he kept his eyes lowered on the female's lovely hues. "I said don't bother, don't even bother talking to me if you will keep on bringing up Sehun--how tall he is, how handsome he is, how blonde his hair is. Seriously, I have a lot of things to do and to forget than to remember how you keep complimenting him when I'm right here, looking at you as if you're the most beautiful girl and I'm ignored as shit. Thank you, Minah, I really liked that."
When I’m sad, please don’t ask me what’s wrong. Just hug me.

"Are you jealous?"
[ x ] "Are you jealous."
Why would he be, when they aren't even together in the first place--sure they have this mutual understanding of becoming more than how they were and albeit the things that happened from the past will remain there, Chanyeol doesn't have a reason to be jealous of what the latter does to his life and the people around him. Seeing him with a blonde haired male earlier wasn't exactly his idea of having fun while looking at him from afar, especially when he sees that indirect kiss that the latter had submitted to the other. His blood boils inside the pit of his stomach, he doesn't know whether he's just hungry, or he's basically on fire because of what happened. His lips, those thin, swollen lips are only for him and him alone, yet look at it pressed on his fingers only to gently pat that young man's cheek with it.
Bullshit, Chanyeol thinks while shaking his head at the inquiry--he realizes that he hasn't replied to the latter's question yet. He doesn't want to, why does he have to anyway, when his actions are basically mirroring what he feels inside. Whatever, he rolls his eyes as he slips his hands inside his pockets while stepping aside so he can walk pass the other while walking towards the cafe.
"Go cure your friend, suit yourself."
"I think I'll just leave you two to yourselves."
[ x ] "I think I'll just leave you two to yourselves."
"Wait!" Being caught upon a situation that he couldn't control, Chanyeol sets himself up as he tries to reach for her hand so he could explain what is actually happening. He just wanted to relive what happened in the past, when his mother is still by his side and when his collection of different kinds of teddy bears were still alive and framed on his closet. He didn't exactly know how he could actually portray as how his mother would, when she was still alive--so when he had a glimpse of a cat lingering outside the cafe, he took it in his hands and places a bow tie on its neck before placing it on the table, as if he's a normal person.
Chanyeol proceeds on serving it a cup of milk, placing it on a bowl so the cat can lick on it--and that's when the little girl who he met not too long ago, suddenly interrupted them. "Naeun, it isn't what it looks like!" There's an evident grin on Chanyeol's face, of course who would even think of anything with him and the cat that he found outside, that's actually absurd. "Don't leave, do you want some milk too?"
I struggle with wanting you all the time, so please don’t mistake my silence for indifference. It’s just I have to hold myself back because I feel too much. Too often. Too wildly out of my control.

× Unexpected Meeting
Reading is one of the things that he finds himself doing when he's too stressed out. He reminds himself that there's a lot of things happening around him yet he can still hold himself down, he needs to be reminded that he's still human, albeit that sudden independence that he forced to himself, he needs to know that he wouldn't be anything other than Chanyeol--not the superheroes that his comic books made him think he was, when he was a child.
It is one of those fine days when he casually strolls around the park with a comic book in hand and that's when he find a bench to sit at. When he's about to flip a page of the comic book series that he has to catch up with, his eyes suddenly catches a glimpse of a man, slightly smaller than him in height with features as of a woman. At first he thought he is, but when he glances back at him and squints both of his eyes to him, he is indeed a man. "Is he alright, what is he doing." He muses to himself, fingers clutched on the ends of the book.
Chanyeol had always deemed himself as a man who keeps his honor to himself, which is why when he had that vision of being a musician, he didn't get to pursue it at first because he knows that his father might end up getting mad at him or some sort--in which he is now but he doesn't want to dwell that upon himself and focus on the man who somewhat needs his help. So when he finds that courage within, he pushes himself up from the wooden bench to casually walk around he latter and peers over to his front with his eyes scanning the pavement below them. "Hello, is there something I can help you with? You seem lost--or well, you seem like you need a hand."
Kiss me.
45. Toes
If there’s anything that he could possibly say in the middle of anything— is that, how did he managed to be that lucky guy who sees her sitting on the bench alone, without any one that can possibly interrupt him from talking to her. Chanyeol adjusts the fake glasses on the rim of his nose, that same evident smile upon his lips while straddling closer to her and peers over her shoulder as he shouts, “Boo!” Her reaction is a little admirable, her plump, red lips are a little too swollen and he suddenly stops himself from scooting over, just so he could examine her face.
"Are you alright, beautiful?" Tipping his head to the side is what he does next, looking down at her physical aspects until his eyes peers over down her foot. He isn't exactly sure why but he felt that she needs something, more of a comfort as he shifts himself to hop on the bench to sit on its backrest. "You seem cold, and tired, what have you been up to?" He's just greeted with a timid smile, it looks like she has a fever and he couldn't stop himself from not wanting to worry about her when she's in that vulnerable state. Chanyeol heaves off a sigh, taking off his jacket is what he did next and places it on top of her shoulder, his fingers gently brushing her nape as he scoots lower, kneeling in front of her on the pavement below.
"You're wearing high heels, no wonder you're tired." He makes it seem as if he's her father, but he's just genuinely worried about what will happen to her later if this continues and maybe this is one of the reasons why they met at this certain point of time, for him to help her and for her to be safe in his arms. "Don't worry, I'll take care of you. I promise." His slim, dainty fingers slowly tugs the strap of her shoes loose, placing it on the bench neatly pressed against each other with her feet on his own palms. Cold, that's what he thinks of how her feet are--it should have been warm, considering the fact that it's almost summer and that the temperature went high for a few days but he could understand where the cold is coming from, if she's sick then that explains it.
Chanyeol pulls her foot up to his lips, it wasn't exactly a nice gesture to do but then he thinks of how sweet and nice her smile is and he ought to let it show on her face, albeit how pale she looks at that glistening rays of the moonlight. His plump lips came in contact on her cold, neatly nail-polished toes, kissing each dainty toes genuinely with his eyes forced upon hers to have her see how sincere his gestures are. "You should always take care of yourself, what if I'm not here to take care of you?" He asks, placing down the foot on his knee to bring the other one up to his lips and did the same gesture as he did on the other one, lips coming in contact with her toes with that same smile across his plump pair.
"Come on, princess. Let me take you home." He states, scooting on his back to have her legs wrapped around his middle and her shoes on the tip of his fingers with his arms laced behind her knees to have her pressed against his back. "Feel free to sleep, I know you house anyway. You can trust me."
Cookies and Cupcakes || Baekhyun&Chanyeol
"I’m calling you Chanyeol because that’s the name your mother gave you." he replied, in a calm tone with a smile on his face. He watches as the other picked up the flyers and began to head outside. "I only meant if you happened to interact with someone again…" he muttered, shaking his head. At the proposal of singing, Baekhyun’s eyes widened. "Only a little- I’m not that good." he said quickly, taken aback somewhat by the quick idea. He didn’t even know what song he would sing.
He took his time finishing up, ordering the other worker who just walked through to take care of things while he headed outside, removing his apron and letting it sit on top of bag before leaving, joining Chanyeol. “What exactly are we doing right now? I didn’t mean actively go out and make people come in — just if you happened to speak to someone…” he muttered, hoping the other could hear him. “What are you going to play?” he asked. Truth was, he had never actually heard the other play guitar — only seen him walking about with the case he often brought with him to work.
He stops by the mention of his mother, his fingers curled around the doorknob as he emits a small chuckle, figuring that the latter doesn't know anything about him--besides, he hasn't told him that's he's a successor of a company. Chanyeol realizes that he has a lot of lies to actually endure before having that life that he wanted to himself, but nonetheless, if it's worth it, then he'll go and reach his dreams until his last breath. "Alright, just make sure to prepare your voice for a little later!"
It took him some time to send out flyers around the sidewalk, asking them to come and meet him again for a little treat outside their cafe where he set up a little band with a small wooden chair outside for him to sit and a mic that he borrowed from a friend on a nearby bar, he turns to look at his friend and curls his lips to a grin while gesturing him to come closer. "We're going to play for them, us. You and me, and you have to pick for a song so I can look it up with my phone and practice it for a while, if I don't know it yet but I bet you, I do! So you better hurry up or else we might get an angry mob."
