Life as a superhero sucks. People are abusing your name, lying about how theyâre your best friend, and calling you because they canât find their phone. One day, youâve had enough. Today is the day you become a villain.

My brain: New story idea!! Must write now!
Me: okay⊠whatâs the plot..?
My brain: Hmm, plot? No, no, no, none of that here, my good friend, my good sir, my good maâam, but may I offer you an overall general Vibe, an aesthetic if you will, a vague feeling to convey, a-
we think too much // lil peep
your characters literally donât need a reason to be lgbt. no lgbt person in real life has a reason for being lgbt. we just are. if somebody says your character has to have a âreasonâ to be diverse, theyâre full of shit. diversity isnât an aberration from the norm. itâs an accurate reflection of reality.

Me, at my character whom I created, whose dialogues I write, whose actions I decide, whose development and personality are completely under my control: Why are you such a bitch
Being âhangryâ probably isnât just childish behavior but a survival instinct to help humans kill to eat when modern food sources arenât available
Me: Okay! Hereâs that death scene we planned!
My character, who was created for the express purpose of dying and has now decided Not To: bold of you to assume I can die
My favourite thing about this post is how everyone is using it to
1. Call themselves out
2. Call that character out
3. Call THEIR FRIENDS OUT
No one is innocent. Everyone is guilty. The character still isnât dead
Which OC is most likely to be stuck in the snow wearing only shorts and a t-shirt?
Unbeknownst to you, Death was watching from the corner of the hospital room when you were being born. Fascinated by life, it imprinted on you. As the years went by, Death saw you often being bullied at school and couldnât do anything but watch; as taking the life of your bullies would have been too much of a verdict. However, you have just been kidnapped and Death is pissed.
Before was was was, was was is.
Some advice for when youâre writing and find yourself stuck in the middle of a scene:
kill someone
ask this question: âWhat could go wrong?â and write exactly how it goes wrong
switch the POV from your current character to another - a minor character, the antagonist, anyone
stop writing whatever scene youâre struggling with and skip to the next one you want to write
write the ending
write a sex scene
use a scene prompt
use sentence starters
read someone elseâs writing
Never delete. Never read what youâve already written. Pass Go, collect your $200, and keep going.
This is the literal best writing advice I have ever read. Period.
Special note: âKill someoneâ means kill someone in the story. Please do not kill random real life passers by every time you hit a block. My lawyer says misunderstanding writing advice is not an acceptable defense. See you all in 25 to 50 years.
oh my god
One day, youâre driving along with a parent. As you pass a graveyard, they tell you jokingly âHold your breath, you donât want any spirits gettinâ in ya!â You roll your eyes and breathe normally, at least until you feel an odd tingling in your lungs. Immediately after, you hear a voice in your head. âThanks kid, I was getting bored in my grave.â
