where are the sex toys now
She hid a smile thinking back towards the note she’d received at Christmas along with the sex toys. “I left them in Sebastian’s room at the castle. I’m not sure what happened to them after that or if he ever even saw them.”
feelings on seb?
“He’s a lycan. What more could I say without insulting him?”
“Honestly, he’s too young for all this bullshit. And he shouldn’t have to pay for his father’s aspirations. But I suppose we all have our roles to play in this charade.”
if you were to host a dinner party what food would you serve?
“Blood, mostly. And maybe a chocolate fountain. I love those. Also great cheeseburgers. Honestly, best thing humans ever did was create the barbecue bacon cheeseburger. Obviously it wouldn’t be a super fancy dinner party without the fine china. I think my mother would have killed me for doing that sort of thing, but it would be so worth it.”
do you have any good memories of lorelai?
“I wish I could say no, but I’d be lying. She was a total bitch most of the time, but right after I was turned, shortly before I began training to become a death dealer, I was having a bad night. Thinking of Cecily and what her last moments would have been. Lorelai was nice that night; she helped me get through it and gave me the best piece of advice I ever received. She told me to ‘Cry now, and smile tomorrow.’ I’m not sure why she was nice then and turned into a bitch after that, but I have a feeling it was because she found out who I was.”

Nathan had half a mind to ignore her. It’d be easy enough to play off in the middle of the bar, three beers working a little magic to make sitting between two bloodsuckers okay, and it wasn’t like she was even talking to him to begin with. The vampire wasn’t talking to anyone, and that was probably why glanced over at her, like he could make sure she didn’t look insane. Nathan supposed talking to vampires was something he was going to have to get used to, no matter how hard it’d be. But knowing avoidance was pointless didn’t make turning his head to give her a look any easier. If he could just think of them as two, simple people at a bar then … Yeah, he could swallow it easier now. “Are you seriously trying one of those affirmation things? Speaking into existence?” He laughed, empty, nursing his beer. “Don’t think that works for the damned.”
The voice replying to her statement shocked her out of her self-pitying session. Aurelia glanced over to see who had spoken and recognized that a lycan was sitting beside her. She raised an eyebrow at him and flashed a sarcastic smile. “Damned? That the best you got, pup?” She shook her head laughing before finally taking her drink in hand and taking a gulp of it. Aurelia knew he’d had a point even though she was loathe to admit it. She hated the feeling inside her. The words were meant to serve as a balm to her wounded heart; it clearly hadn’t worked, and she knew it never would. “I was trying that shit,” she admitted a moment later. “Obviously it’s a lost cause.”

Things had not been, good. It was a thought that had occurred to her more often than not. While she never spoke the words she would simply dwell upon without speaking a word. As if she had anyone she wanted to tell. Not damn well likely. Tapping her glass with a delicate finger, Juliette noted a presence at the bar that was none other than a darling death dealer. Perhaps they hadn’t spoke before and her name escaped her but she never forgot a face. It was good to know who was attached to who after all. Friendly, while she nearly shuddered at the word, would be the best option. Not too much of course but just enough. “Of course it will, darling,” danced off her tongue with a slow smile as she shifted her long hair over her shoulder. “We live far too long for life to ever get the best of us,” she continued before she took a sip of her own drink quietly.
Aurelia had just spoken her words, almost a plea for things to be okay. But no sooner than she’d let them out into the world did she regret them. Everyone wouldn’t be okay; she knew that more than most. She glanced over when a blonde replied to her. She hadn’t even noticed anyone was around her aside from the bartender, but it seemed she had some much needed company. She snorted at the next comment, shaking her head in answer. “Not everyone,” she muttered. Not everyone got an okay ending anymore, no matter how old they were. The recent deaths just proved it. “But it does get the best of us sometimes. Sometimes we just get fucked in the ass again and again.”
ashtonfinryder:
Though Ashton wasn’t a regular bartender at the bar here, he’d take up some shifts here if he can, especially on like nights were it’s just too cold or shitty feeling to go out. Tonight was one of those nights, where he didn’t feel like going outside but he still needed to get his hands busy in some way. He may have been expecting a lot of familiar faces, but Aurelia was not one of them. She didn’t seem to notice him either and he wasn’t too sure about going up to her just yet. He was cleaner the bar top when she called out for another drink, his eyes gazing done to her untouched glass. She didn’t seem to be doing too good at all. He poured her another glass, carefully leaving it in front of her, “On the house.” It seems like she needed it, greeted her with a small smile. “You think so? Things have seemed to calm down a bit.” He leaned back, folding the rag he had, wanting to be cautious of his words, “Not doing too good?”
She glanced up when the bartender responded, glazed eyes barely focusing long enough to recognize the person. Aurelia was almost ashamed that she hadn’t realized it was Ashton behind the counter sooner. Perhaps she had soft lately, leaving behind her training as a death dealer when the truce had been enacted. With all of the death lately, she knew she’d need to start working on that again if she wanted to survive. “Thanks,” she muttered, finally downing the first drink so she could reach for the second. She flashed a hesitant smile that didn’t reach her eyes. She wasn’t sure when she’d last smiled for real in a long time. It’d all been fake smiles and perfect charm; neither one had ever been her strong suits. “No,” she admitted a moment later. “It seems like we’re all dropping like flies. I think this is the calm before the storm.” She bit back a harsh laugh at the question. “Does it looking like I’m doing good?” she asked her voice dripping with barely concealed sarcasm. “Didn’t think it was that obvious.”

BLOOD WARS TASK ;; TASK 11
It had been a while since Aurelia had ventured out of her apartment. Even with Aaliyah attempting to comfort her, she’d been resistant to facing anyone. It seemed that everyone was dying even in the midst of a truce. She tried not to read any further into that. But instead of wallowing anymore, she knew she couldn’t hide forever; she needed to get out at some point. So she found herself in the bar downstairs as a first step to becoming social again. “I think I’m going to need another,” she muttered towards the bartender even though she hadn’t yet touched her drink. "You know,” she added a moment later to no one in particular, “I think that everything’s going to be okay.” Even she knew it was a lie, but perhaps she just needed convincing herself that everything was just a wasted effort.

Talk about a time you made an enemy.
You can’t be in my previous line of work for as long as I have without making enemies. I’ve killed far too many lycans and even some vampire traitors to not have made countless enemies. They’re all inconsequential to me; they matter little when I’m simply doing my job.
Talk about a traumatizing memory.
Cecily. I’ll never forget the sight of her small body, mangled beyond belief. I couldn’t even recognize her anymore after what my husband did to her. She was young, far too young to have faced such a horrifying death. She deserved more. And I couldn’t save her.

Talk about a person you like that really hates you.
I’d say there’s a list, but I don’t like too many people. Lorelai, maybe. I tried so hard for so long to get in her good graces, but we all know how that worked out. Sebastian was a possibility for a while until all of this shit happened. He wasn’t too terribly bad until I found out I had to marry him.

Sebastian didn’t roll his eyes, but it was a real challenge. So, they’d given him someone who didn’t even care enough about the truce to putanything but a minimal amount of effort in. Fantastic. Aurelia was foolingherself is she thought she’d be able to just walk away from all this. Even ifshe was willing to throw hundreds of years dedicated to her coven away, theresulting outbreak of war that would result if the truce didn’t work would bemore violent and reach further than it had in a long time. No one would be ableto escape that. “Lorelai said a lot of things. Most of them were said out ofspite.” And really, this was nothing compared to the things she’d said to himwhen she was alive. Still though, her comments about his father made hisposture go rigid for a moment before he smoothed it back out. “How sweet of youto be worried about my wellbeing and upraising when your own was so apparently lacking.Did your mothers forget to inform you it’s bad taste to get wasted at your ownengagement party?”
She shrugged in response, not willing to let him know that he was right. There were plenty of things Lorelai had told her about Sebastian, most of which she’d assumed were false only because of the source. “Perhaps she misjudged you then. Wouldn’t be the first time she did that.” Aurelia refused to admit that perhaps she had misjudged him, not her deceased sister. She hid a smile when he straightened at the mention of his father. Good to know. At least she now knew where to drive the knife in the future if need be. If tonight didn’t accomplish that for her. She’d almost begun searching for another drink when she processed what he’d said. It probably was a good idea for her to stop for a while. Instead, she gave him another smile laced with loathing. “The people who call themselves my mothers informed me of plenty of things. And they left out things as well.” Once again, the remembered that she’d been lied to by the people who were supposed to be her family; she remembered that she was doing this for them when they’d done little for her. “I suppose they forgot to mention that little tidbit.” She paused for a moment to set her glass down on a passing waiter’s tray, this time resisting the urge to get another. “You’re still just a child playing an adult’s game, little wolf. Be careful not to get in over your head.” With how their conversation had gone so far, she knew he would take the words she meant to be a warning not to turn out like her, or worse Lorelai, as a threat, but at least she could say she tried.
