I take an online class and my professors office hours are also online. Well, usually when I’m in his office hours I have my camera turned off and just have my mic on to talk and ask him questions. Today, apparently my camera was on without my knowledge (I think the FBI did that shit). But, me, thinking I’m in the privacy of my own room decides that it’s time to take this tight ass wig off bc my day was over. A black girl taking her wig off at the end of the night is a symbolic moment. When that wig comes off, she is truly at peace. I did that quick post wig scalp scratch and looked back up at my screen bc I suddenly stopped hearing my professors voice. I look up and see my professor staring, mouth wide open, eyes just ready to pop out of its sockets. My guy was so frozen in place I thought the internet connection went bad. I had my man shook. He just witnessed me take my frontal right the fuck off my head. His poor little white heart did not know what to make of it. He couldn’t regather his thoughts so he ended up rescheduling our office hours :(
