little psa since it looks like some of y'all forgot: mental illnesses aren’t here so you can demonize people with horror ocs. like, there’s a way to write mentally ill characters so you don’t come off as disrespectful. having DID or BPD or psychosis or schizophrenia doesn’t automatically make someone a trope or a monster. schizo and psycho aren’t quirky adjectives to use for your spooky scary murder muse. please think before you write.

What is your standard of 'beauty', Duck?

Well, it’s definitely not as simple as some people think it is. ‘specially on this planet--you’ve got like a thousand different alien representations of “beauty” all crashing into each other. It’s whatever you make of it--whatever you look for in yourself and other people, I guess. 

I don’t think about it too much. ‘cause I already know that I’m beautiful, so it’s not worth the time to consider.

Who are you without your teammates?

...Well, I’m...still me. Still the same amazing, incredible, heroic Danger Duck, that is! Even if everyone else on this team decided to call it quits, I’d still be there, out on the streets and up in the sky, fighting crime and saving the day! I’m not defined by anyone else, but me. That’s how it is.

...uh. And--that said. I...don’t know if I’d be as successful, without them, but...it’d be a tough life, for lots of reasons, alone.

honesty hour if you're still doing that-- why do you tend to pick on tech the most?

If I seem to “pick on” that know-it-all, it’s only ‘cause somebody has to make sure he doesn’t always get the last word in. Have you tried having a conversation with that him when he gets in one of his moods? Condescending to the max. It’s annoying. 

He’s smart. I’d have to be stupid not to know that. But that doesn’t mean I’m just gonna let someone talk down to me.
