A funny joke popped up in my mind so I decided to hold a little event on February 14th (yes, just for that one joke…I wonder if you can guess which one). So, how about receiving a valentine card with TKA character? If you’re in a mood then keep reading~
Character: Han Wenqing. I don’t have my own style, so I used the latest one that I adopted. I thought Han Wenqing would look funny in shoujo style as your typical ‘pretty face “bad guy”’…or so I thought.

Softly, almost reverently, Ye Xiu took One Autumn Leaf’s card from Sun Xiang’s hands.
“Don’t get used to it, old man. This is only a one time thing.” Sun Xiang rubbed the back of his head, before moving to join Zhou Zekai and the others. However, he paused in the doorway, turning back towards Ye Xiu. “…Enjoy it.”
Ye Xiu said nothing, only running a finger on the account card, lost in thoughts which were unknown to the blonde battlemage. Sun Xiang closed the door behind him, leaving Ye Xiu alone in the room lit by a single computer.
My old friend…
As he entered in One Autumn Leaf into the card register, he let out a breath Ye Xiu didn’t realize he had been holding in.
[Logging on…]
[One Autumn Leaf is Online]
——————————————————————————-
“Ye Xiu. Wake up.”
Ye Xiu rubbed his eyes, squinting as a bright light flooded his field of vision. Sitting up, Ye Xiu attempted to get a feel for where he was, before finally opening his eyes wide in shock. He sat alone, staring at white. Almost frantic, he finally looked behind him to see… One Autumn Leaf?
“Good. I’ve been waiting for you.” The avatar stared down at his former owner, almost imposing.
“What… What’s going on? And… what’s that supposed to mean?” Running a hand through his hair, staring at the ground, Ye Xiu continued, “Maybe Mucheng is right- I should probably lay off the cigarettes…” He looked back up at One Autumn Leaf, attempting to absorb as many details as possible. One Autumn Leaf, or at least, who he could only assume was One Autumn Leaf, looked like a more attractive version of himself. His locks were jet black, and softer looking, compared to Ye Xiu’s own oily hair. One Autumn Leaf’s facial features simply seemed more refined, sharper, while Ye Xiu wasn’t necessarily lean- smoking and eating instant noodles constantly took its toll on his body. In comparison, Ye Xiu’s first account was simply more attractive. Although, Ye Xiu mused, that would most likely stem from the fact that One Autumn Leaf was a video game avatar.
Noticing Ye Xiu’s stare, the avatar swiftly turned around, and beckoned for Ye Xiu to follow. “Let’s go. Hurry up.”
“Oh?” Standing up, brushing off his clothing, Ye Xiu asked, “To where?” He walked to where One Autumn Leaf was standing, raising an eyebrow, seeing that the avatar was a good amount taller than him, at least two heads- another thing that could be attributed to the fact that One Autumn Leaf was fictional, after all, Ye Xiu was not that short himself. A window appeared before them, a forest beyond it.
“To my house.” He provided no other context, and begin to step through the window, out to the other side.
“This is a bit sudden, isn’t it? Buy me dinner first.” Ye Xiu raised an eyebrow, not entirely sure if he should follow the avatar into the wilderness or not.
“…Are you coming or not?”
“Yeah, yeah.”
——————————————————————————-
“Oh! How cute. A slime.” Ye Xiu stared at the large green creature, as it began to plop towards him. Its beady black eyes seemed to concentrate solely on him, and as it began to come closer, Ye Xiu began to feel a slight sense of dread. You don’t feel pain in a dream… Ye Xiu quickly reminded himself, but that reminder quickly flew out of his head as the slime jumped above him.
“Shit. Shit shit shit shit shit shi-” Ye Xiu sprinted away as fast as he could. While yes, he most likely was not going to get hurt, he doubted being squished by a slime would be the most noble way to go, dream or not. Jumping over a rock, he had to figure out the best way to escape the slime- a slime with a freakishly large aggro range.
Squish.
“Are you kidding me-” Stepping back, Ye Xiu had found himself in the midst of what appeared to be a slime den. The squished slime, which had apparently only taken one point of damage, rose up in what was the slime version of anger. “Alright. This is fun. Great.” He attempted to run back, only to see the other slime. “…One Autumn Leaf? You there?”
Silence. The slimes only hopped closer.
“One Autumn Leaf!” Stepping back, Ye Xiu slipped on a fallen leaf, and had fallen onto the ground.
A flash-
As Ye Xiu watched, frozen, a black shadow dashed into one of the creatures, green slime splashing a bit onto Ye Xiu’s face. With a twist, Evil Annihilation sliced the other slime, followed by a slash, disintegrating the slime into a pouch of coin and a pair of gloves.
One Autumn Leaf picked up the pouch, it disappearing into his hands, and he threw the gloves behind him, the gloves disappearing the moment before it hit the ground.
“What, the loot isn’t good enough for you?” Ye Xiu raised an eyebrow, and sat himself up, clearly not fazed at the fact that the great God of Glory could have become slime chow.
“Blue. Next time, don’t get lost.” One Autumn Leaf turned to look at his former owner, an unreadable look in his eyes.
“Hmmm,” Ye Xiu leaned into his hand, elbow propped up on his leg. “Not my fault. You had disappeared on me- Too cool to protect old me?”
“You aren’t old.”
“Maybe, maybe not.”
Sighing, One Autumn Leaf began to walk towards the sitting god. “Let’s go. I don’t know how much longer we have.”
“Is there a time limit? Any other valuable informat- Hey! Suddenly picked up, Ye Xiu now rested in the Battle God’s arms. While perhaps a lovely moment for certain people, the metal of One Autumn Leaf’s cuffs led to an uncomfortable experience on Ye Xiu’s back. “Is this necessary? Really necessary?”
Humming, the avatar started to run- catching Ye Xiu off guard, forcing him to grab One Autumn Leaf’s arm because of the sudden change in speed. “Watch it- Have a little respect for the elderly. Aren’t you supposed to treasure me, anyways? Hey, I’m technically your father, after all. Call me da-”
“Please stop.”
“Maybe, if you pay me for it.”
“…”
——————————————————————————-
A few while later, a calm Battle God and his frozen owner arrived at their destination- a quaint little house surrounded by oak trees.
“Here.” The God of Glory was gently placed onto the ground like a child, as he blinked and stared in front of him. It was… smaller than Ye Xiu would have thought the Battle God’s residence would have been. The house itself wasn’t freakishly miniature, of course, but he had expected for the avatar a large and grand mansion.
“Not too much to look at, huh? A castle would have made much more sense for you. Made with black stone, looming halls, a wood door that’s just barely beginning to rot, something to that effect.”
Yes, One Autumn Leaf was an avatar of a few words, but he had seemed to be rendered speechless. After a few seconds that seemed like an eternity, with furrowed eyebrows, the Battle God finally responded with a “…Why?”
“You…” Ye Xiu seemed amused at the question. “You’re the Battle God. I’m sure you would at least have a place bigger than this.”
“I’m not like the others.” In a surprising moment of passion, One Autumn Leaf began to complain. “Cloud’s house is a pain to clean up, with it’s fifty rooms and what-not. And Rain has an obsession with keeping his home shiny- white marble was a terrible idea for the walls, especially when Swoksaar is always sitting in his tower casting a rainstorm over it every other week or so- looking at Rain’s house once the storm is over makes you actually pity that annoying boy. And Dust lives in a cave. A cave, for Glory’s sake. He sleeps on a straw mat on the cold ground. He says it’s for ‘tempering purposes’ but he always seems so grateful whenever he crashes here, where he can actually sleep on a bed. The only one with at least some sense is Vaccaria- but his plants are all over the place and some of them are quite terrifying…” As if remembering a traumatizing moment, the avatar almost shivered.
Ye Xiu blinked. “Huh. I’m not sure what surprises me the most, the fact that you strung more than ten words together or the fact Vaccaria is a plant dad… Which should actually not be the most surprising thing, in hindsight. So, what happened? Plants with teeth? Some sentient vines getting a little too comfortable with you?”
What could have only been described as a light blush graced One Autumn Leaf’s cheeks, before the avatar attempted to hide it by coughing to the other direction. “We should probably head inside. I believe Grim was expecting us. And later…you’ll see.”
“Later?” Ye Xiu was curious now, this dream of his would be implanted in his mind forever. “What happens next?”
“Just wait a minute-” One Autumn Leaf was interrupted, as he cottage door slammed open, revealing a frantic young man, red scarf everywhere.
“Leafy! Oh- you’re finally here, what happened? You’re late, and you’re almost never late- oh. Oh. Uhm. Hello, Ye Xiu.” The young avatar finally seemed to notice the God of Glory, looking at him almost hesitantly. “Was everything okay? You two took a while.”
Hearing the esteemed and powerful Battle God’s nickname, Ye Xiu couldn’t help but smirk. “Leafy? Interesting… And we could’ve gone here sooner, but I was too busy avoiding death-by-slime seeing as somebody had abandoned me.” He looked pointedly at Leafy, a single eyebrow raised.
To Ye Xiu’s surprise, One Autumn Leaf had a pained expression on his face, hands clenched to the side. With passion, he responded to Ye Xiu’s remark, putting “I would never abandon you, Ye Xiu. Never. Remember that, always.” The avatar stared into Ye Xiu’s eyes with such intensity- he was completely caught off guard. Turning his head to look at Lord Grim, he could see he was not alone in his uncomfortability.
In an attempt to diffuse the situation that was quickly growing awkward for two of the trio, Lord Grim moved out of the house doorway with a frightening speed. “Let’s head in, okay? It’s not good for Ye Xiu to be out for so long, he might get cold.”
“Yes, let’s go.” Ye Xiu stepped back, pulling himself away from One Autumn Leaf’s tight grip. As he followed the shorter avatar, Ye Xiu paused, as if to look back, but continued to enter the house.
Perhaps, if he had looked back, he would have seen One Autumn Leaf, hands still outstretched, with a look of pain in his eyes that should have been too complex for a figment of fiction.
——————————————————————————-
Situated by the fireplace, resting in an orange beanbag, Ye Xiu was finally able to study Lord Grim. Despite being shorter than the Battle God, the unspecialized was still taller than himself. With soft, light brown hair, and almost gentle looking golden eyes, Lord Grim was not unattractive. Ye Xiu noted that some traits were similar to his own, but not entirely. He was not in his armor like One Autumn Leaf was, instead wearing a simple white shirt and light brown pants. Against the lighter, more passive tones, Lord Grim’s long, bright red scarf stood out- not only in color, but the way it moved. As Lord Grim began to talk, the scarf began to move on its own. During a particularly interesting story about ‘Leafy getting into an argument with Rainy that ended up with Leafy being cursed to wear bright colors by Swokii’, the scarf began to float, flowing with Lord Grim’s emotions.
Chatting with the shorter avatar was refreshing for Ye Xiu, having been stuck with the not as chatty Leafy. Well, Leafy did have that more talkative side to him, but Ye Xiu doubted that side would appear again soon.
“And there was this one time, with me and Autumn and Dani, where Leafy had apparently fell into a river? I don’t know how it was possible, you’d think that someone known as the Battle God would have perhaps a little more sense, but apparently not. Anyways, his armor isn’t the best for floating, and me and Autumn had to dive in after him. Dani was supposed to help but obviously not- she was sitting off to the side laughing at us, and when we were able to fish Leafy out of the water she started to take pictures of us? I mean, if she was going to do that then at least she could have helped a little bit. Later that day she was flounting a large amount of gold in front of us, and Swokii apparently had new blackmail on the three of us so I’m sure you can guess how that turned out,” taking a large breath, Lord Grim finally finished the story. “So that’s how we ended up cleaning Swokii’s tower for the next month. I can still remember the stench…” Shivering, a dead look was apparent in the avatar’s eyes.
One Autumn Leaf sighed as Lord Grim once again opened his mouth. “I do not believe speaking of these moments is absolutely critical at the moment.”
“Aww,” A mischievous glint shone in Lord Grim’s eyes, and with a huge grin on his face he replied, “But there’s this great story I want to tell! You know, the one where we were helping Vaccaria with his pla-”
“No.” Before finishing his sentence, a black gloved hand shut Lord Grim’s mouth, his eyebrows raised at the blushing battlemage. “I don’t think that is vital information either.”
“Hmmpf.”
Ye Xiu looked between the two, maybe noticing something he shouldn’t have. “I still want to hear the story, though. Grim, want to tell me later? I’m all up for it.”
Pushing One Autumn Leaf’s hand off of his mouth, Lord Grim beamed. “Of course! I’d love to. But only after…”
Knock. Knock.
“Oh! Perfect!” Lord Grim stood up from his seat, and briskly walked towards the door, leaving Ye Xiu alone with his former avatar. As voices were heard from the entrance, Ye Xiu saw that One Autumn Leaf had stiffened, eyes dark with an unknown emotion.
“Are you okay? It seems like you aren’t doing okay at all…” Ye Xiu’s breath hitched as he saw who had joined Lord Grim.
A young man and woman, sporting matching goggles. However, the woman was not who had stood out to him.
Bright amber eyes, a soft serene smile.
“Muqiu…”
——————————————————————————-
Ye Xiu stood with his hand outstretched towards the man who had been gone for over ten years. A silent plea sent out. He looked the same as Ye Xiu remembered. He still looked so gentle, so kind. Youthful, happy, just as his Muqiu should have been.
Upon seeing Ye Xiu, Muqiu’s smiled bitterly. “I’m sorry. I am not the one who you wish I am. But… I understand.” Not-Muqiu let out a breath, taking Ye Xiu’s hand. “It is good to see you, however.”
“I…” Ye Xiu didn’t know what to say in response. Of course it wouldn’t be Muqiu, even in his own dream the dead would stay dead. Instead, Ye Xiu squeezed Not-Muqiu’s hand, searching his face, soaking in as many details as possible.
Thinking about it, paying really close attention- there were differences. Amber eyes too golden, a smile that was too perfect. But, if Ye Xiu looked at him from the corner of his eyes, then he could pretend.
“Ye Xiu!” His thoughts were brazenly interrupted as a cheerful girl popped up in front of him. She grinned at him, clasping his free and in between hers. “It’s great that you’re here, I had complete faith that Leafy could fetch you, but you know how he is- he can get so arrogant that he loses track of things.”
Taken aback, startled by the sudden change in pace, Ye Xiu blink and stared at the energetic girl before finally finding words. “Yeah. I had almost gotten eaten by a slime on the way here.”
“Eh- Leafy! I told you to be careful!” She pouted turning to look at the Battle God, but he had vanished without them noticing. “Ugh- He always disappears like that.” Looking pointedly at Ye Xiu, she added, “I wonder who he gets it from.”
Lord Grim finally realized he had not introduced the duo, although, it wasn’t like he necessarily had too. “Ye Xiu, it’s probably obvious by now, but here’s Dani and Autumn. Dancing Rain and Autumn Tree. Now, we finally have everyone! I believe Leafy is already there by now- We should go join him.”
Lord Grim grabbed onto Ye Xiu’s arm, Dani already occupying the other. Autumn stood behind them, firmly grasping Ye Xiu’s shoulders, causing the man to jolt in shock. “Prepare yourself-” A quick warning was issued by Autumn Tree, but Ye Xiu barely had to register his words before he was engulfed by a bright blue light.
——————————————————————————-
“Urghhhh….” Heaving, Ye Xiu threw up for the third time, as Autumn began to awkwardly pat him on the back. “What was that…”
“Teleporting can be hard on newcomers… Don’t worry about it too much. We were all like that at first, and tele-sickness is the reason why we usually run, anyways.” Autumn laughed, a laugh that was so similar and yet so different from what Ye Xiu had remembered and hoped for.
Once he was fully confident that he wouldn’t throw up anymore, Ye Xiu brushed some snow over his vomit and was able to fully enjoy the scenery, seeing as he had missed it in his… occupation.
A bright blue sky, with not a single cloud in sight, resting above a snowy wonderland. Soft and fresh, the snow gave into his feet by a few centimeters. A few maple trees were scattered, a few orange and red leaves carried by a light wind. Ahead of them, Lord Grim, Dancing Rain, and One Autumn leaf seemed to be in a deep conversation. Dani and Grim both picking up snowballs, before promptly throwing them at the Battle God, who swiftly dodged and kicked some now back at them. The childness of the scene tickled at Ye Xiu- a scene that had reminded him of the first winter he had spent with the Su siblings.
“Cute, isn’t it?” Autumn joined Ye Xiu in his gazing, this time Autumn Tree’s smile the same as Ye Xiu had remembered. Soft, but behind it, pain. “Hopefully, things can stay like this a bit longer.”
“Why wouldn’t it?”
“Things never last forever. And I’m sure you know that all too well. I just wish the four of us can continue to be happy. Cracks are already appearing. Not by hate, of course. We’re all very close- but when you have such a strong hope, you have to think to yourself. Just how far are you willing to go? How much are you willing to risk? For a dream, I would say I would do everything to reach it, but the thought of risking my family, the people I love, could I really do that? One of us… He would risk everything. But he knows it, we all know it, in the end, it’s for nothing.” Sighing, Autumn turned to Ye Xiu. “Let’s join the others.”
Ye Xiu could only stare at the avatar, before nodding. “Of course.”
The other three were only so far, but the walk to them seemed like an eternity for Ye Xiu. What was Autumn hinting at? He could understand that someone seemed to have a goal in mind, the pathway to get there being full of challenges; challenges that would destroy the tight-knit group. But what would possibly be that difficult? And who would risk so much?
“Ye Xiu, are you alright?” The Battle God turned to him, worry in his golden eyes.
Ye Xiu knew who. And it scared him a little bit.
——————————————————————————-
“How are you faring?” One Autumn Leaf kept pestering him, going overboard in making sure he was alright. “It isn’t cold, is it?”
“I’m fine. Really.” Ye Xiu attempted to smile up at the avatar, but even with his superior skills in hiding his emotions he failed to mask himself completely. “It’s just… Thinking is hard. Of course, it’s not that hard for me, seeing as I am obviously of a higher intelligence than most, but it’s you know, a bit more difficult when you’re trying to think why your dream is just too dramatic.”
“Is it really…?”
“Yeah, of course. I hop through a window to an ‘alternate dimension,’ almost got eaten by a slime, literally the lowest of all fictional monsters, then i’m dragged to a house, which is nice, I have to admit, but you could probably do better. And then apparently all of these fictional avatars have their own sitcom-like lives, and low and behold, the person I love appears in front of me but it’s not him, and it never will be and my dream doesn’t stop to remind me of this? Thank you, dream, for continuously shoving into my face. And then, after barfing all of my guts out due to teleportation being a bitch, I’m told that you all are having some kind of- Ugh!” Doubling over, Ye Xiu clutched both of his hands to his temples. He seemed to almost fizz out, cringing everytime a part of him vanished for a split second.
Almost instantly, One Autumn Leaf kneeled down beside Ye Xiu, frantically running his hands over his owner’s form. “Ye Xiu- Ye Xiu, are you alright? I- talk to me, I really hope this is going to end up fine, and I’m sorry for this.” He raised his hand, and smacked Ye Xiu hard on the head, causing the man to wince in pain, but stopping him from disappearing at the moment.
“Ow, okay. Thanks. What happened?” His question was not answered, however, as One Autumn Leaf called the others over to him. But as Ye Xiu thought about it, something was off. He shouldn’t have felt pain, not in a dream. He should’ve woken up by now. Staring at the horizon, the voices of the other avatars were drowned out by his thoughts. Nothing was how it should’ve been. Even if in a dream, why did he accept the presence of the avatars so quickly? Shouldn’t he have thought about everything else first?
“Ye Xiu, Ye Xiu, are you alright?” A hand waved in front of him. He blinked.
Looking up to see the avatars peering down worriedly at him, Ye Xiu muttered, “Yeah. I’m doing great.”
They exchanged looks, then Autumn explained what was going to happen. “You don’t belong here, so your body is forcing you to go back. We were lucky enough to have you here for so long, actually. Estimating by how much of you was disappearing, I’d say you have maybe five, ten minutes left with us. Then you’ll wake up.”
“Oh.”
Hesitating a bit, Autumn Tree added, “And we don’t know if anything bad is going to happen to you. You went through a great deal of mental stress, it’s possible it may have an affect on your mental fortitude, or perhaps a change in your ability to think.”
“Oh.”
“So we’ve decided that we will all have a few moments alone with you- just to say any last lingering words.” Lord Grim chimed in, seeing as Autumn Tree seemed slightly put off by Ye Xiu’s lack of adequate response. “Dani will go first, then Autumn, then me, then finally Leafy.”
——————————————————————————-
Dancing Rain stood in front of him, still as cheerful as ever, despite the fact that the man in front of her had practically almost disappeared around five minutes ago. “So, my ‘last words?’ Even though you’ve spent the least amount of time with me, I don’t have too much to say. After all, I’m sure she will tell you all of these things eventually.”
“Mucheng?” Ye Xiu quirked an eyebrow. “What would she tell me?”
“I… just said she would tell you eventually. You’ll find out, eventually. Oh, but there are a few things.”
“Implying she’d hide something from me?” Not likely, Ye Xiu thought. “What would she hide from her almost-brother?”
“Don’t smoke too much, which isn’t hidden but that’s what you should definitely know first. And she can make her own decisions too, so you don’t have to baby her so much.” She tapped her foot on the ground, before adding, “Cept isn’t that bad either, once you get to know him. He’s surprisingly sweet, so even though you’re retired now, don’t pick on him too much, okay?”
At this, Ye Xiu couldn’t help but smile cheekily.
“I have to take care of my sister, it’s my sworn duty.”
——————————————————————————-
“Autumn Tree…” Ye Xiu looked at the not-Muqiu in front of him.
“I’m sorry.” Autumn Tree scratched the back of his neck, and continued. “It’s what he would say to you. And I’m sure he would also ask for you to play a song for him. I had actually planned on having you play a little tune for us, we have a small piano, but I guess we never got the chance.”
“Hmmm… I’ll keep that in mind the next time I visit him.” Smiling, Ye Xiu looked up to the bright blue sky. “Do you think he’s happy?”
“That is a question I can’t answer for you.” But thinking a bit, Autumn added, “However, I’m sure that as long as you’re chasing after your dream, if you always remember him, then I think you won’t have to worry.”
“That’s good.” Now gazing down at the ground, he laughed. “I guess then i’ll have to make sure the whole world knows his name. I finally have the chance now.”

Lord Grim was acting off.
It wasn’t that off, but he just didn’t feel right. “Are you okay?” Ye Xiu was slightly worried for the unspecialized, as he had been pacing back and forth while Ye Xiu was talking to the two siblings.
“Yeah, it’s just, so many things to say, and yet they can’t be said.” Lord Grim tried to smile, but he dropped it seeing the look on Ye Xiu’s face. “I just wanted to tell you that… I’m very grateful. I didn’t think that after that update, I could really fight again. And that I’m honored that you chose me, and brought me to the peak. It’s something I never thought I could see.”
“That’s not all you want to say, is it?” Ye Xiu was still skeptical.
“It’s not. But I cannot describe the feeling in words. Just, when you’re talking to One Autumn Leaf, please don’t make him too eager. Usually he’s a giant dork, but around you,” Pausing, Lord Grim was hesitant to say more. “Be gentle when you talk to him, please. If something wrong was to happen…I don’t know what he would do afterwards.”
With narrowed eyes, Ye Xiu asked, “Are you afraid?”
“Yes. I am. Unbelievably so, but I can only hope.” Shaking his head, Lord Grim finally smiled down at his owner. “I’ll tell you another story some other time. That’s a promise.”
——————————————————————————-
“Sooooo.”
“So.”
“Any wise words of encouragement? A declaration of love? Some secret sinister plot you want me to carry out? A revenge against Sun Xiang, perhaps, your blonde hair was a phase I really hope wouldn’t be repeated.” Ye Xiu grinned at the battlemage, but it faltered at the devastated expression on One Autumn Leaf’s face.
Letting out a breath, the avatar’s face was shadowed for a minute, before One Autumn Leaf smiled. “It’s funny, isn’t it? I finally am able to bring you here, but I’m not able to speak a thing.
“Sometimes the most important words are the ones left unspoken.”
“If I was real, would you remember?” The Battle God ghosted his hand onto Ye Xiu’s face, lifting up his former owner’s chin to look at him in the eye.
“What?”
“Glory never dies.”
And with those words, Ye Xiu began to fade. “Hey, what’s going on?” He opened his mouth, but no other words came out.
Ye Xiu disappeared.
“I love you, but you’re real.”
——————————————————————————-
“Ye Xiu. Wake up.”
Groggily, Ye Xiu stretched out his arms, hitting someone in the face. “Leafy?”
“What?” Zhang Jiale, who had just been hit on the face, was completely confused. “Leafy?”
Beside him, Mucheng began to giggle. “Ye Xiu, don’t sleep in the game room. We have a match tomorrow, you should get some decent rest.”
“Oh. Right.” Ye Xiu stood up, wobbling from his legs being surprisingly sore, as if he had walked for miles.
Fang Rui grinned and put one of Ye Xiu’s arms over his shoulders, hoisting him up. “You were drooling a bit, I took a few pictures. So cute, and Team Happy definitely seems to agree. What were you dreaming about, anyways?”
Ye Xiu opened his mouth, but didn’t say anything. He didn’t really remember, the dream slipping his mind completely. “I’m not too sure. Hopefully something good.”
