The cursed well

The American aid centers, as you have heard about them, are centers for a game of squid, a sport of murder practiced against the Palestinian people.

These horrific crimes have become widespread daily because of the American aid centers; every day an unknown number of people are killed.

In central Gaza, there was an American aid center, one of the centers where most people were killed.

Near that center was a water well that for decades irrigated the orange, olive, and palm groves that were widespread in that area, but none of those trees remain due to the destruction and deliberate uprooting of the trees.

The old water well has been transformed from a source of water for the trees into a cemetery where bodies are collected and dumped at the end of each day at the American aid distribution center.

That well became covered with the smell of death and decomposing corpses instead of the scent of roses and oranges.

when i was younger i was so sure i'd be a mother when i grow up and that i'd have children.

now i dont want any, beacouse i dont want to bring anyone into this world beacouse icl i dont have very positive views on the future. (if i were to have children, i'd adopt or foster.)

now i just toy with the hypothetical, and i've come to the conclusion that if i had children, i wouldn't want a daughter.

Beacouse, tell me how am I supposed to teach my baby that the world wasn't made with them in mind.

I wouldn't want a child that isnt one of the 2 preset genders either, beacouse again, i have to teach them that the world is actively hostile towards them.

How am I supposed to teach my baby that the world was made by men for men.

And my son wouldn't have it easy either, beacouse while they made the world, they didnt even do a good job at it. Boys are taught violence and bottling up emotions makes them real men. So even they don't have it easy. It's a double edged sword, but i do believe their part is duller.

Pax is such a great parallel to Gillion because hes literally everything Gillion thought he had to be, he gave his life for destiny, chose it over his friend the nameless prince (lets be so honest theres something gay there), and it lead to him literally becoming a blade for destiny- literally being a tool for someone else- he doesn't harbor any bad feelings obviously hes spent years in there having to come to terms with it he was literally the first chosen one, but i love how Pax had every opportunity to be bitter about his circumstances, to maybe even criticize Gillion for not being a "perfect" chosen one "like he was" but instead he was proud of Gillion for his imperfections and his bravery to accept himself and love himself, proud of him for doing something probably not a lot of chosen ones were able to do something Pax definitely wasn't able to do, he was proud of him for breaking the cycle of pain and self sacrifice 💙
