Just realized Dorian and Basil died stabbed by the same knife. Im not okay, IM NOT OKAY😭😭😭😭(probably everyone has realised at this point but still)

Theres an Oscar Wilde quote, "A true friend stabs you in the front".

Basil was stabbed while facing away from Dorian, while Dorian was stabbed in his chest. He didn't consider Basil as a true friend, even though Basil warned him about Henry he still chose to hang around with him because he knew it would ruin him, which it did and it resulted in his demise.

In the end he finally realized that his only true friend was his portrait, and when he tried to "kill" it, he was the one who died, because in the end it wasn't the portrait that was the issue, it was Dorian and his actions
