ask for help finding something you know good and well is on the other side of the store, ask for help reaching something up high (if you're not super tall), ask for help understanding something trivial
as much as I dislike customers being shitty to employees just trying to do their job, politely keeping them occupied in case they're a snitch is, in my opinion, your civil fucking duty, and I genuinely apologize for any and all employees I annoy in the near future as I do what I can to defend people who can't afford food

Wanna add as someone who has worked in a grocery store before and would not want to narc on someone stealing food:
This also gives the employee an excuse to ‘not notice’ something. Give an employee plausible deniability so they too can pretend they have no clue what’s going on
It’s a hard time out there and people might be afraid of losing their job buuut customer is King according to the big boss, so go ahead ask me where some item you know isn’t here is, I’d love to go on an excursion with you. That other customer seems to know exactly what they’re here for

So, I've been feeling abysmal lately, about myself, about life, about the future, but since high school when I started watching Tokusatsu, it's been a constant source of inspiration, of hope, of positivity.
It might sound silly but it's the reason my mental health isn't worse than it already is, something to make me feel like things can get better, that as long as you do your best, you can change.
And now that I'm starting HRT, I think I'll need it more than ever, I mean, I'm happy but also kinda scared. But having Tokusatsu as something that will always be there even in the scariest moments makes me feel a little bit better.
